Chapter 11: Josh Hutcherson ft. Jennifer Lawrence.
"So Kendall." Brody said directing the camera he's holding at me. Somehow he managed to get a hold of proper camera, the heavy ones that are used to record and for the past hour he's been going round to everyone and asking questions, pretty much forcing them to look in the camera and answering them.
I'm stood in the middle of a circle, my hair and makeup almost done and my clothes are being tugged at to make it look scruffy (same with my hair which is quite painful). I'm wearing black jeans, a white tank top with a black vest on underneath it and a black sleeve less hoodie that has had the zip ripped off and some of the back cut out. My hair's done and back-combed, making it look like I've continuously ran my fingers through it and the hood's been balanced on top. Black Supras have been tightly laced on my feet and there's some sunglasses hanging loosely from one of my pockets.
"Brody." I sighed taking a quick drink of water before the bottle was ripped from my hands and replaced with finger less gloves. I put them on and closed my eyes as Jen applied some mascara before opening them and smiling at the wardrobe crew, watching them walk away before turning back to Brody.
"You look like a bad ass." He said simply making me pull a face at the camera which had Brody laughing. I laughed along with him before Harvey came over holding his clipboard.
"Brody put that down." He sighed. Brody pressed the stop button and fell down on the sofa, kicking his feet up and fiddling with the camera settings. Harvey got me to practice the action scenes a couple times before I was put in the position I needed to be.
(In this scene I find out that Ryan [Zack] has gone missing. Alexis [me] runs back to house and starts looking for him because I don't believe anyone and then the house gets attacked. Now you are up to date.)
"Annn-" Abigail, David's assistant, said before she was cut off. David jogged through the door making everyone stop and look at him.
"Kendall." He said motioning to follow him before he left the room again. I exchanged a look with Abigail but she just sighed and threw her hands in the air, giving me a signal to just go. I ran out into the corridor after David, seeing him round a corner I instantly followed and then slowed down to a fast walk next to him. He shoved some papers at me and I just managed to catch them before they fell.
"What's this?" I asked looking down at the first sheet but the words were all blurry because I was now jogging to keep up with David.
"A contract." He replied with a shrug before stopping at his office and opening the door. I was ushered in before he closed and door after him. He gave someone a nod and sat behind his desk but I was too busy trying to understand what this is about. It's only when I look at the contract title does it all come to me.
Hunger Games, fourth movie: The girl on fire burns on...
I look up at David who's smiling away and then at the man opposite him. It took a couple seconds for his face to click, Francis Lawrence.
"Francis, this - talented little pop star - is Kendall." David said as I stood there in the middle of the room in shock and confusion. "Kendall, this is Francis. And that over there." He said pointing to the chair next to Francis. "Is a chair. Sit in it."
I slid into the cushioned seat and flicked my eyes between both Francis and David who are smiling weirdly, not to mention, creepily, at me. I shuffled slightly and moved my chair backwards, eyeing both of them with a raised eyebrow before doing the cough thing that you do when you're waiting for something.
"Oh right yes." David said before pressing a couple buttons on a control. Two minutes later the door opened and my eyes went a little (okay a lot) when the two actors I idolize walked through the door.
Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence...
"Kendall." Francis started making me look at him. "The Hunger Games fans are dying to know what happens to Katniss and Peeta after the last film. So we decided to make another film showing them what happens. We have already casted the son, Rye and now we just need the daughter."
"Suzanne Collins asked for you especially." David grinned but all I could do was sit there with my mouth hanging open a bit and my eyes flipping between Francis and then the contract. "Kendall?"
"You alright there?"
Before I could answer Abigail burst through the door and gave David the 'look'. It's been given way too many times round here. It means 'we-need-to-fucking-shoot-this-fucking-scene-before-it-gets-too-fucking-dark-so-hurry-the-fuck-up'. David smiled nervously before nodding and Abigail left again, leaving Josh staring at the door with his eyebrows furrowed and Jennifer looking at Josh. She stuck her pinkie in her mouth and then his ear making him fall on the floor, both Jennifer and I burst out laughing. Jennifer gave me a high five whilst Josh glared at the both of us from the floor, then he joined in laughing which resulted in Francis and David to groan.
"God there's three of them now." They both muttered in unison.
"DAVID!" Abigail's voice shouted from the corridor and David shot out from his seat.
"Francis, Josh, Jennifer you are more than welcome to come watch Kendall if you wish. I'm sure we can sort this all out after her father's been notified." David said professionally.
"Whoa, whoa.... whoa!" I interrupted standing up and holding out my hands. "You can't call my dad."
"Why not?" Francis raised an eyebrow.
"Yes Kendall, why not?" David questioned.
"Right well obviously neither of you have met my dad." I started. "Seriously he'll freak out, he loves the Hunger Games and he fan girled over Josh in every. Single. Movie."
"Told you people like me!" Josh flicked his wrist at Jennifer. "HA!"
"What did he say about me?" Jennifer jumped up and down, clapping her hands a bit as well.
"Who's that." I answered making her stand still and pull a blank expression. "Don't worry, Zayn smacked him."
That made her smile widely.
"KENDALL! DAVID! NOW!" Abigail shouted making David and I flee the room, running towards her before she could come get us. As I ran through the door Abigail yelled action so I just kept running down the makeshift street with the cameras following me.
"ALEXIS HE ISN'T HERE!" Ash shouted behind me, trying to keep up with my fast pacing but I didn't listen to him and flung the door open.
"RYAN!" I screamed, spinning round and pretty much flying up the stairs to his room. I stumbled through the door, everything's still as neat as it was when we left this morning. "RY!"
My room, the bathrooms, kitchen, living room, game room, everywhere was empty. "RY PLEASE THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" I started letting tears fall down my face as I raced out the back door and up the hill, the beach now in view but it too was empty.
A loud explosion came from behind me and I ducked onto my knees, shielding my head from the rubble that flew over me. Explosion after explosion followed but I could't move. My arms and back were attacked with bricks, glass and anything else, blood pouring out and sticking to my clothes or running down my arms. Finally it stopped and I reluctantly stood up and looked behind me.
Where the house once stood is now a black mess of rubble, from the kitchen tiles to the satellite dish. I sobbed and fell down onto my knees, throwing my hands into my hair and crying. Any chance that Ryan was in the house, alive is now gone. No one could survive that.
I was enveloped into Ash's arms as I cried and he cradled me.
"It's alright, it's alright he's not in there." Ash kept whispering but I just don't believe him for some reason. "He's not there, he's not there Alexis."
DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN! Mwahahahah I'm leaving it at that...
