A/N: Just in case you need a recap: Jasmine is Zack's twin sister who's younger by fifteen minutes and hates that because Zack keeps hanging it over her head.
Chapter 46: Jasmine and Kendall.
Now when we got off the plane we were all bombarded with screaming girls waving the Too Young photo shoot pictures at us with markers in their hands. When we got in the Range Rover ready to get home, the driver could barely get out of the airport car park because of the paps and now I'm lying on my bed (which I've missed dearly), I really don't want to get up.
Lauren gave me a super long hug and since it's been nearly a year I returned it. I love Lauren, I do. When Jasmine and I had to move in with Uncle Simon we knew about Lauren being friends with him, this was about eight years ago and then a couple years ago when they started dating Jasmine instantly loved Lauren. I was very tense and closed up around her because I didn't remember what is was like to have a mum.
Jasmine was pretty much the only person I could open up to and then when she went to boarding school I had no one. Danny, Josh and Jack had always been friends with me and Josh doesn't have a mum either so we both started opening up to each other too. Then Kendall came along three years ago (I should really stop saying two years, it's been three now) and we clicked instantly.
I guess the point is... wait, I'm just rambling. There is no point.
"Zack." I grunted in response to Simon opening the door.
"Come on pal." He sat beside me and nudged my knee.
"I'm tired." I whined like a little kid.
"I know, you look it." He replied and I glared at him. "What?!"
"Could you stop being Britains Got Talent Simon Cowell and be Uncle Si," I mumbled into my pillow. "please."
"Sorry." Uncle Si rubbed my shoulder. "What's up bud?"
"I'm really jet lagged." I moved my cheek to rest against my pillow and looked at my uncle. "And hungry and I feel gross so I want to take a shower but I'm tired and hungry too."
"Teenagers." Uncle Si rolled his eyes. "You know that's exactly what Jasmine said when she walked through with Kendall."
At the mention o my twin sister's name I shot up but my eyes widened at the mention of Kendall's. I love them both but the idea of both of them in the same room, talking, gives me the creeps. There are so many things they have yet to know about me and I'd rather not let them share the information between each other.
"Wait," I shook my head. "What were they talking about?"
"I don't know but what ever they were talking about must have been funny." Uncle Si replied then left, only after purposly flinging the contents of my suitcase across my room and shutting the door with a loud slam.
He's such a child sometimes...
Please don't be talking about me, please don't be talking about me I mentally begged. I had quickly showered and thrown my clothes onto the floor of my wardrobe (walk in one obviously) and changed into black jeans and that grey sleeveless hoodie I wore to the airport when it was just me and Jackson. I shoved on some white socks, stuffed my hair into a black beanie and brushed my teeth before pretty much tiptoed past Eric's room knowing that he's probably taking a nap.
However my ninja skills must be having a holiday since Eric started crying in his room and I cursed. I opened the door to the darkened room to find Eric standing up in cot, clinging onto the sides like his life depends on it and his feet pushing against the netting material like he's trying to break it. The dogs, Squiddly and Diddly (don't ask, I'm pretty sure whoever named them was drunk) are lying on the floor either side of the cot and growled at me until they realized I wasn't going to harm the baby and then started circling my feet and rubbing themselves against my legs.
Eric saw me and stopped crying, instead giggled and flung himself back inside the cot that's way too big. You could fit like fifty kids in there. Then again, Simon gets everything specially made. Literally everything in my room had to be made specifically to what I wanted. I felt bad for the designers and just ordered normal things from Ikea and sent it to them. They were so grateful they insisted on paying me back. I just got them to leave a couple screws out from a couple of Si's stuff. I took the blame but it was hard not to laugh when Simon was yelling at me with barbecue sauce all over his face.
"Hey Eric." The baby giggled again when I opened the curtains and then picked him up. He held onto the back of my neck as I walked out his bedroom and nearly tripped over Diddly who clawed at my door until I opened it and he jumped happily onto the bed. Squiddly followed him and I left them to walk down the two flights of stairs towards to the kitchen.
I was barely inside when the familiar blonde headed female version of me flung herself at me. I nearly dropped Eric who was still giggling his ass off even though he's squashed between me and Jasmine.
"H-hey Jas." I choked out once she let go of me.
"Really?" She burst out suddenly. "I haven't seen you for three fu-" She stopped quickly and covered Eric's ears. "f-u-c-k-i-n-g" She uncovered his ears and then continued. "years in which time you get into a movie, get a girlfriend and get all muscly and stuff. I was expecting more from you then just 'hey'!"
"Well what am I supposed to say?" I cried out. "You're the one that left and I didn't even get a hello either."
That shut her up but for Kendall all it did was make her hide her smile behind her hand. Eric stopped giggling, looked between all of us and then started punching the air with a big smile on his face. I broke into a smile too and pulled Jasmine into a one armed hug.
"Hey Zack." She muttered.
"Hey Jas." I laughed kissing her cheek. I gave Kendall a quick peck on the lips when Jasmine let me go and then sat on the island counter spreading my legs apart and setting Eric between them.
"So Kendall was just telling me about," Before Jasmine could finish the front door burst open and Cece tackled Kendall to the ground. Holly, Hope, Ella, Lilly and Bella followed not long after with Josh, Danny and Jack trailing behind them looking confused.
"Is this normal?" Jasmine whispered across the counter to me.
"I thought this is what girls do." I lent back so I could whisper to her.
"Wait do girls not do that all the time?" Josh asked as the boys joined us. The boys and I looked at Jasmine who shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know, I go to a boarding school. Everyone is more obsessed with the guys and that friend of the asshat Beckham kid to worry about a social life." She muttered bitterly.
"What is it with you two and not liking the Beckham?"
"I don't mind David, Victoria, Cruz, Brooklyn or Harper." I defended myself.
"So just Romeo you don't like?" Danny pointed out.
"No he's pretty cute." Jasmine said and I glared at her.
"No." I pointed a finger at her. "Absolutely not."
"NOT IN THAT WAY!"
"Go on, shoo." The dogs jumped off my bed and ran out the door when I ushered them out and then I shut the door before falling onto my back, sinking into my wonderful and comfortable mattress.
"You tired?" Kendall laughed. I opened one eye and looked at her. She's sitting on the corner of my desk, fiddling with my old iPhone 5. She looked up from the phone as I nodded.
"But not tired enough for a kiss." I mumbled holding out my arms tiredly, motioning to come cuddle with me. She laughed and jumped down from the desk. Soon enough I had my lips pressing themselves against hers for a couple seconds and then my forehead buried into the crook of her neck when she pulled away. I tightened my arms round her waist and pulled her on top of me, her legs tangling themselves in mine.
"God you can tell you haven't been in here for ages," Kendall said gently. "You still have that glass of water up here."
I lent my head back, eyeing the half empty glass of water that around 11 months ago had been in Kendall's hand and spilling half of the contents over my head.
"I'm surprised Lauren hasn't yelled at me for that yet." I replied. "You can barely bring a bottle up here without giving you hell for it."
"That's because you never tidy it away and end up leaving it for her to pick up." Kendall said.
"I do intend on putting them away." I whined. "I just get distracted."
"No surprise there." I barely heard her mutter but her adorable laugh was ringing loud and clear in my ears when I started tickling her for her comment.
"No Zack please stop!" Kendall was close to tears as she pushed at my chest trying to get away. "I'm sorry, stop it!"
When I did she was breathless but she could still stick her tongue out at me like she's five. I burst out laughing at shook my head before kissing her.
"God you're so childish."
"I am still a child, leave me alone."
"You're fourteen." I pointed out. "Nearly fifteen."
That made her stay quiet for a couple minutes before she scoffed. "Shut up."
