Chapter 3: Black

Kendall's P.O.V:

We've been in Barbados for a week now, meaning we've had enough time to met the cast, learn the first scene and start to get ready to rehearse it. Directors and actors don't shoot the movie in order, so we're shooting one of the middle scenes first. This scene is where another actress, Katy, and I are sneaking into a FBI office to bug the place.

Katy's really cool. She's thirteen too and looks just like Eleanor, except shorter and well, younger. She's really funny and always laughing, and since we're the only girls that aren't thirty odd, we get on pretty well.

Katy plays a girl called Jackie, a normal school girl who also works for the ACPP (American Child Protection Program). She works alongside my character, Alexis or Alex for short. Jackie and Alexis are supposed to be best friends, so for the past two days we've been hanging out by the pool and getting to know each other-and yes pictures did go on Instagram and Twitter.

"Is this loaded?" I asked throwing the large rifle in the air and catching it again when it came back down. Since this is only a rehearsal we don't have to wear the clothing we would have to if we were shooting, so we're wearing tracksuit bottoms and tee shirts. We've both got running shoes on since we've got to do a lot of that in this scene and we don't want to wear heavy footwear.

"Kendall they don't even trust you with a stapler, of course it isn't loaded" Zack muttered from his chair (we get the cool Hollywood styled chairs). He was in jeans and a hoodie as he and the two other male actors sat with him. Brody and Jackson are our age so those three have gotten pretty close, they also look alike but Brody has hazel colored hair and Jackson is ginger.

I glared at him as he grinned before I rolled my eyes and turned back to Katy. Boys.

"ACTION" The director shouted from his chair.

"Careful." Katy said as we walked through the door, our guns in our hands. Chairs, papers and tables were scattered across the place. Windows broken and doors hanging on one hinge. Everything was black and dusty, cold. Katy went behind the desk and started going through stuff, clothes on her and she chucked me a pair too. I slipped them on and walked to the middle of the room, crouching down and picking up a picture that must have fell from a wallet. I looked at the back, Kathy and Alli. I flipped it over and wiped some dust from the front, a girl around twelve was sat on a sofa with a toddler in her arms as they both smiled at the camera. Next to them was a man wearing all black and 'FBI' was written on the shirt in yellow.

"Alex come here" Katy said. I shoved the photo in my pocket, picked up the rifle and made my way over to her. I looked up at the stairs in front of us. I couldn't see more than five steps before everything goes dark, apart from a small crack of sunlight at the top.

"Leads to the roof." Katy explained as I switched the light at the front of the rifle on. "You want to go first?"

I moved the light around, not seeing any damage or anything dangerous but it still felt scary. "Yeah, cover me"

We slowly made our way up the stairs, catching our reflection in the mirrors. (We're clean at the moment but when we shoot it we will have dust, blood and mud all over us). The door opened as I kicked it gently, the light blaring into our eyes as we stepped out, dropping our arms by our sides as we scanned the area. Suddenly there were gun shots and everything around us started to break as bullets missed us by millimeters. We ducked out and hid behind a couple crates.

"God you're bleeding" Katy gasped looking at me as I touched my forehead, drawing my hand away (Of course no blood but when we shoot the thing there will be).

"I've been bleeding since this freaking thing started." I gritted checking behind my shoulder and spotting a guy wearing all black and holding a gun. I shoved the tip of the gun into a slate in the crate, aiming for him and shooting-he fell down and dropped his gun. Katy did the same to a couple more people before standing up.

"I think we got the la-" She started but then one last shot went off. She stumbled back and her body fell over the edge of the roof.

"JACKIE!" I screamed, tears pouring from my eyes before I spun round and shot the last guy. I ran to the edge and looked down...

"AND CUT!" The director shouted. I held a hand out to Katy as we both started laughing, she grabbed mine and I helped her up. The roof is only like three meters from the ground, but when we shoot the proper thing we'll pause it and then zoom out making it look like she fell ten stories down.

I wiped the fake tears from my eyes as the director walked over and shook our hands.

"Great job girls, go get some rest. You deserve it."
