4. Suiting up
The sight was one of the worst sights that I have ever seen in my life. There were people running around everywhere and gunfire was going off along with people screaming and running from the zombies. That wasn't the worst part though, there were dead people everywhere with their insides splattered everywhere. Aside from that, we have a lot of zombies that we would need to deal with.
"We have quite the challenge to face." Kegan said as we all looked down at the street.
"Lets just stay up here until armed forces arrive, or when there are less zombies in the area. We can just crash here for the night." I said and they all agreed. It was starting to get dark and we all sat beside each other and started to go to sleep. It wasn't very fun to fall asleep to the sound people getting mauled.
I woke up to the sound of a helicopters flying close to the building. I quickly woke the others up to tell them the good news. We looked up at the three helicopters and waved to get their attention. There was one smaller helicopter that saw us and was going to land on the roof of our building. Right when it was about to land, the helicopter accidentally hit the antennas on the building. The helicopter went out of control and crashed into the far right side of the roof. We we all so upset that we could of gotten out of here and the dumb little antenna got in the way of it. The other two helicopters flew away.
We went up to check for survivors of the crash but we couldn't find any. I grabbed a shotgun that one of the men that was on the helicopter had and I said, "Ok this may not have been what we were expecting but lets get use out of this. Grab any useful weapon or tool that you can use." Brad grabbed grenades off of a dead body and Noah grabbed a machine gun. There were no more weapons on the ground.
" We are running out out of food and water and I think that now that we have some more proper weapons we should take the chance of getting more supplies. Also I think we should make someone our commander, because we are going to need orders from someone down there in the chaos. I think it should be Brad, he is strong, courageous , and good at navigating." I say. The others agree. I pat Brad on the back and say to Brad, "Congratulations you are the team's new leader."
