The Day The Earth Fell Silent

A kid named Logan was just playing with his friends, Noah, Drew, Kegan, and Brad on a hot summer day in New York City. They were just kicking a rock around in Central Park, but they accidently kicked the rock into the thick layer of trees. Logan went over to go get the rock back but right as he was about to pick the rock up something was blocking his path... it was a zombie.

3. Making Our Way to the Base

We all saw what was going on. "Run to the Rockefeller Center now! Kill any zombie that tries to kill you!" We all sprinted to the building. We got inside of the doors and quickly tied a rope around the handles so zombies would not get inside of the building. Just the sight of looking through the clear doors and seeing every citizen getting mauled by zombies made me want to puke.

"Come on Logan we need to hurry and get to the top of the building because I don't know how long these ropes are going to hold." Drew said.

As we were looking for a way to get to the top of the building we passed an elevator and Noah said, "Here's an elevator, why don't we just go up through there?"

"No, electricity could be out soon and I don't want to get stuck on the way up. Our best bet is to take the stairs." I said as I was looking for a map to show where the staircase is. After a lot of looking and a lot of people freaking out and getting in our way, we finally found the staircase. All of us looked at how big the staircase was.

"That is one big staircase." Brad said as he was looking at the top.

"Well we need to get up there fast before the zombies beat us to it, but first we need lock this bottom door and then we will lock the top door once we get there." I said. They got a strong and sturdy rope out of the duffle bag and tied the door to the handle of the metal stairs. After that we locked the door shut and nailed in three small boards across the door with a hammer.(Just random supplies that we bought at the store) After that was done we started to head up the stairs. We were halfway up the stairs. As we were going up we heard a lot of strange sounds, which only made us go up quicker. We finally got to the top and locked the door then checked to see what was down on the ground. Let me tell you it was one of those I think I'm going to be sick moments.
