they thought they were in love

//he would gash red lines into his own skin,

yet

he knew how much it hurt her.

~

he would play with her thoughts and mind;

and

she was alright with it.

~

he would never follow through on the things he had promised-

"One last, just one last time"

-yet the only words she'd ever believed was the ones when he told

of how much she meant to him.

~

he knew he hurt her,

he knew she deserved better.

yet he couldn't let her go-

for, he never really did love her anyway\\\

but as far as foul play goes-

she would always love him,

oh how she loved him.
