Chance was amazed that he had found his sister. Forgetting about Brittany, he walked away with his sister. Brittany did not follow, but she walked away in the opposite direction and called a cab to go home. She wanted Chance to be happy, so she left him to get his life together.
Walking into the street, it started to rain just as she started to cry. Her whole life was falling apart, and she had just lost the one person who kept her together. She tried to force herself into thinking that she would be okay, but he was gone. What could she do without him? Her whole life was built upon him and their love, and now he had walked away, forgetting her entirely.
"I'm okay... Everything's fine. He's happy. I'm okay." she cried to herself.
Walking with Delilah, she smiled and was trying to get the mascara that was caked on her face, off. She was so pretty, and he was shocked to see the resemblence between them. They had the same eyes, and almost the same face. It wasn't hard to tell that they were twins.
"Chance, how old are you?" she asked.
"I'm sixteen." I replied. She nodded.
"Me too." she said.
Same age, I assumed that we had the same birthday, but I don't want to ask. It was so different having a sister. It was like everybody walked out of my life, and suddenly they were pouring back in, and most of them left again. I had no choice but to shove them away again. That's why they left me. What would Brittany think of me having a twin sister? Brittany...
I turned away and started running to where I had stupidly left her alone. How could I do something as stupid as that? God, I hope she's okay.
She was nowhere to be found. Knowing her, she probably left and went home because I was so distracted. I knew her too well. Suddenly, Delilah placed her hand on my shoulder, and she looked at me, confused.
"What's going on?" she asked. I shook my head. Tears welling up in my eyes, like a little kid, I tried to blink them away. She's fine, she's fine.
I wondered what he was thinking about, and what he was doing. He was okay one minute, and then he was sprinting away the next. Suddenly, it clicked in my stupid head. It was that girl he was with.
"Chance, it's okay. She probably just went home. She's just a girl anyway, she's gonna be kind of dramatic about this. I would know." I said to him. He looked at me in horror, and disbelief.
"Just a girl?! You don't know the half of it. She's not just a girl, she's my girlfriend!" he shouted at me, in anger. I didn't realize that saying that she's just a girl would upset him like that.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry." I said to him. He shook his head.
"Whatever. It's fine. Here, take this." he said as he pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket. It had an address written on it. I took it, and nodded.
"Come over tomorrow." he said, and he walked away. I watched him in disbelief. He was just leaving me here, alone? Fine, it will be this way if it must. Good-bye, then. See you tomorrow...

Chance rushed to find a cab, and get home. But, Brittany decided not to go home just yet. She went to the diner to talk to Miranda. She didn't realize that Chance was searching for her.
