Gabe and Madison came out and they looked shaken. It was easy to tell that they hadn't been treated nicely during the questioning.
"I never want to come back here. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. Let's go." Gabe said really shaken and upset. Brittany nodded, and they walked out together. There was the same black car out waiting for them, and the same men. Nobody spoke.
They got to the hotel, and they walked in silently. They waited to talk until they got to their room. Nobody really wanted to talk anyway. But, they had to discuss it, even thought they just wanted to hide away and cry.
"So, um..." Madison said, but her voice trailed off into nowhere. Nobody wanted to say anything. Michelle strikes again. This couldn't be happening... But, it was, so they had to brave through it, and there was nothing else they could do.
"I know that was scary... But, we need to keep going. Michelle is winning, and it can't be this way. We have got to get this under control." Chance said. He just wanted to get this over with. They had been questioned, and it took a long time. It had been hours, and it was almost 7pm already. The day was just stupid, and they just wanted to hide away and cry. Especially Brittany. She had bring back old wounds and it hurt. It hurt to have to tell another person what had happened to her in the past. Especially now Michelle was back to get the revenge she thirsted for. But, they couldn't let her do that.
They sat down, but nobody said anything. All of them were a little shaken, and it was still uncertain what was going to happen. Brittany and Chance were wondering what went on when Gabe and Madison got questioned. They seemed like they had just gotten a death threat or something. But, neither Chance nor Brittany wanted to bring it up to them. It was just a little too soon to ask for answers. After all, Gabe had just went through a break-down, this was not the time to be mentioning something that would just bring his attention back to the worst.
So, they decided to take their attention off the situation and go out for dinner. It was just too rough right now, and silence wasn't going to help them at all. Silence would just eat away at the until one of them was done trying.
"You know what? I can't stand this! We're going out, now." Chance said not even asking if they wanted to. He just told them that they were, and that was the end of it. No objections. Gabe and Madison got up, and they nodded. Brittany stood by Chance's side, and she hoped this would help.
"Okay. This is just what we need to keep our minds off things. Let's go!" Brittany said.
The girls went and fixed their hair, and the guys just stayed the way they were. Guys are guys... But, the girls wanted to look kind of sophisticated, but the guys looked great the way they were. At least to them.
They walked out hand in hand. As they walked out, they had people staring at them like they were criminals. Disgusted looks, and people just plain staring. It hurt, but they needed to keep their minds off things. They walked past them all with their heads high. Nothing could ruin this moment, it was too perfect. They had each other, and that's all they needed at this point. They kept walking, and they wouldn't let go of the others hand. Not for anything...
