"Soo..." Calum said awkwardly as we walked.
"Do you have any siblings?" I asked, rounding a corner.
"Yeah, I have an older sister named Mali Koa,but she's in college. What about you?" He spoke fondly of his sister, which I thought was cute.
"Yeah I have an older brother, also in college." I showed him the main gym and then the auditorium.
"Do you play any sports?" I asked, he seemed athletic and he was tall so i knew coaches would be recruiting him.
"Yeah, I play soccer, and I play the bass, but that's not a sport..." He laughed at himself and I laughed too.
"I play lacrosse, in the spring." I said, even though he didn't ask. A look of confusion washed over his face.
"Lacrosse? I've never heard of that before." I laughed at his bewilderment and lead him down some stairs to the cafeteria.
"It's ok, maybe one day after school I'll show you!" I said. I was surprised by what he said next.
"Would you like to hang out today? Maybe show me some lacrosse?" He smiled brightly, and I agreed. By that time we had to go to our first period class.
"Who do you have first period?" I asked, looking at his schedule.
"Uhh, Mr.Quinn. Do you know where his room is?" He asked, looking at me.
"Yeah! I have him first too!" I wove up and around the school, with Calum following me. I saw all the girls staring, and I got a little jealous. We made it to his room and took a pair of desks next to each other.
"Ok class. Welcome to History! I'm Mr. Quinn and for your first assignment, you'll need to partner up and do a presentation on what history means to you!" Calum and I decided to be partners.
"So I guess this gives us another reason to hang out today..." He laughed. The rest of the day went by fairly quickly and Calum and I drove back to my house. It was kind of nice because both my parents were on business so I had the house to myself.
"Do you want to start on homework now or later?" I asked walking into my house.
"Can we eat first?" He asked. He pouted his lower lip and I wanted to kiss him, but I didn't.
"Yeah, sure! I want cookies!" I opened the pantry, looking for Oreos or chips ahoy but I couldn't find any. Calum rested his head on my shoulder as I scanned through the cabinets.
"Why don't we just make cookies?" He asked. I agreed and we got out the ingredients. I was putting the floor in the mixer, when it plumed out and covered Calum.
"You did that on purpose!" He screeched.
"No I didn't!" I said laughing. He grabbed a handful of flour and threw it at me. My previously gray shirt had a patch of white on the front.
"Fine!" I grabbed chocolate chips and threw it at him. He grabbed sugar and threw it at me. I cracked an egg on his head, he threw milk on me. By the end we were covered in food and laughing on my kitchen floor.
"How are we gonna get all this off of us?" I said in between laughs.
"We could get a hose?" He suggested, his lips curling into a devilish smile.
