The gleaming sun light hit my eyes. I groaned and threw the covers off me.
I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth as well as my hair. I then changed into some jogging shorts and a hoodie.
I ran down the stairs and headed for the kitchen. Mom was already there, sitting on a stool, sipping her morning coffee.
I walked over to the kitchen island and grabbed an apple, taking a bite out if it.
"Jogging again?" Mom spoke out, breaking the silence in the kitchen.
I nodded as I walked over to the refrigerator to grab me a water bottle.
"Be safe. And don't run to far from the house." She said.
"Okay, mom." I said, leaving the kitchen and heading out the front door.
The warm summer breeze hit me. I smiled as I breathed in the fresh air.
What a beautiful morning it was.
I grabbed my iPhone, that had earphones connected to it, I plugged the earbuds in my ears, and placed my music on shuffle.
I began jogging down the sidewalk, enjoying the sun that hit my tanned skin.
Italy was a beautiful place. The buildings and homes looked so old-fashioned yet pretty.
My family usually come here ever summer as a family tradition. My mom loved the idea, my dad however always lost about a quarter of his money when we come here.
As I was jogging, a song that I didn't like came on.
"Why is Ariana Grande in my playlist?" I muttered to myself, grabbing my phone from my hoodie pocket to change the song.
All of sudden, i collided with what had seem to be another person.
I landed on my butt, with incredible weight on my stomach.
I opened my eyes to see what looked like a man on top of me.
My eye twitched in irritation when the man began siting up. He looked around his surroundings before his eyes landed on mine.
He was beautiful.
He had shaggy dark brown hair and brown eyes. He also was tan.
His eyes widen at the sight of me. He quickly turned his head and looked over his shoulder.
He cursed under his breath, sitting up quickly, grabbing my wrist.
Right when I was about to protest, he dragged us into an alleyway.
I was beyond pissed now.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, grabbing me like that?!" I cursed at him in Italian, completely thinking he was from here.
He scrunched his eyebrows in confusing, opening his mouth to speak only for me to interrupt him.
"This is kidnapping. I'm going to call the police!" I spat out, grabbing my phone, trying to find out the police number.
He immediately grabbed my phone from my hand.
"Look, I don't know what your saying. But whatever you do, don't call the police! My mom would kill me if she found out I was in jail again for something stupid." A deep Australian voice spoke out in front of me.
I looked up at him in surprise.
"Oh you can speak English." I muttered out.
He nodded his head slowly. "Yeah, did you think I was Italian?" Looking at me like I was crazy.
I placed my hands in my hips and raised an eyebrow at him. "Well, we are in Italy. Who else could you be?"
He smirked. "I'm Calum Hood."
"Is that suppose to mean anything to me, Mr. Duck Face?".
He frowned at the name I gave him. "Duck face?"
"Yeah, your lips at pouting and it looks like your making a duck face." I pointed out.
He smirked at this. "Why are you looking at my lips?"
"Pshh, please. But seriously why should your name mean anything to me?" I asked.
"Do you seriously not know who I am?" He asked seriously.
He looked a bit shocked yet happy.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Logan, Logan Smith." I said, averting my eyes to the ground.
I waited to see if he would laugh. I was never a fan of my name.
"Logan. I like that name. It suits you." He spoke out.
My eyes shot up to meet his.
He was smiling.
I blushed. "T-Thanks I guess. Look I really need to head back to my house, it was nice meeting you tho."
"Am I really that bad?" He asked with chuckle.
"No, I just thought that you would want to be alone....." I said twiddling with my fingers.
"Well Logan I think I would enjoy to spend the day with you." Calum said with furrowed eyebrows.
"Well Calum Hood I don't know, it's just my first impression of you isn't that well..." I said sarcastically.
"Well let me make it up to you.." Calum said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Fine, only for an hour!" I seriously.
"Calum! I'm going kill you this time! Just you watch!" I yelled to the boy beside me, while focusing on a flat screen tv in front of me.
Calum chuckled, clearly not scared at the threat I said to him.
Calum and I have been playing Call of Duty for the past two hours.
After another battle, we stopped playing. Right now we were just sitting on the couch chatting.
I checked my phone for the time and hissed when I noticed it was way past my time to go home.
I sat up from the couch and smiled shyly at Calum.
"Thanks for inviting me. I had a great time." I said.
Calum stood in front of me and nodded. "Sure. It was fun. We should do it again sometime.".
"Yeah, sure. Whenever you want."
He held his hand out in front of me. I shot him a confused look.
"Your phone. Give it to me."
I hestited before giving him my phone.
He grabbed it and a typed away on it, after a few seconds, he handed back my phone.
"I put my number in it. Text me whenever you want to just chill." He said.
I nodded and said my goodbye before heading out the door to his house.
I arrived at home about fifteen minutes later. I opened the door to my house, only to see my mom, with her hands on her hips, glaring at me.
"And where have you been young lady? You've been gone for two hours! Two!" She exclaimed.
"I saw a park when i was jogging and chilled their for a bit and i guess i lost track of time. I'm sorry mom." I lied.
She sighed. "Don't ever do that again. I was about to call the police to go search for you."
I smiled and hugged her. "It won't happen again."
She pulled away from me and smiled. "Good. Now, your father and I are going to have a little night out. We'll be back around midnight. Don't stay up late, we have a big day tomorrow."
After mom and dad left, I went to my bedroom and lounged ok my bed, skimming through things on my laptop.
I sighed. I'm so bored.
I wonder what Calum is doing?
I smiled at the thought of Calum. He seems pretty cool and not to mention he's really good looking.
I glanced over to my phone on the night stand.
Maybe I should text him? I shook my head at that thought. No Logan! Don't text him right away, he'll think I'm desperate.
I groaned and laid in bed staring at the ceiling.
I'll text him tomorrow. Definitely.
After laying in bed for a bit, I pulled the covers over me and closed my eyes.
