11. 8.i - Thomas's Introduction
There is one thing that I have always detested about man. I do not claim to be an exemplary one, but there has always been a part of me that hates my own self for one thing. It's no secret that a man always feels himself superior to his female counterpart. It is a sad fact, but true all the same. Years upon years of being humbled constantly cannot quench that arrogance a man has, but I suppose it can be dulled to the point of mild irritation in a sensible man's mind.
Yet: Feeling is one thing. Believing is completely another.
And when a man holds to his arrogance with a fanatic's zeal - it changes him, transforms him into a beast.
And beasts are only made to be slain.
