Stockholm Syndrome // h.s. (ON HOLD)

"Trust me, you're never leaving, but if you do, you'll leave loving me."

8. eight.

Harry found it very strange that Jennifer was so cheery. Sure he was extremely happy for her new house and really sorry for her loss. He just couldn't grasp how her emotions were flipping from one side to another...Like a pancake.

"It's not the greatest thing ever but I'm happy with it. I can make this hunk of junk a work of art!" Jen said as she pulled up to the curb.

"It's so small." Harry said.

"Looks can be deceiving." Jen giggled and got out of the van. Harry was creep-ed out. He thought of the old saying and song every thorn has its rose, and got out the car and stopped thinking.

After all of the boxes were inside the two of them were exhausted.

"This place has a basement too?!" Harry exclaimed. Jennifer nodded.

"Yeah it's a bit ratty, wanna see?" Without thinking Harry agreed. They walked downstairs and saw it was just as Jen described it. Ratty. Harry started to have a sneeze fit, so they went back upstairs.

"It's awfully dusty down there..." Harry said while rubbing his nose. Jennifer laughed and apologized.

"Are you thirsty?" She asked.

"Okay, I have water and some Kool-Aid packets, is grape alright?"

"Of course." He said with a grin. Jen walked into the kitchen and grabbed two waters out of the box labeled "KITCHEN" in big lettering. After digging around in the other boxes she found the flavor packets and dumped one in each, and shook them. Before she walked out to return Harry's drink, she reached in her medicine box and grabbed the bottle of roofies (rohypnol). She dropped one in his bottle and shook it up in her left hand. When she headed for the living room to Harry she started shaking both of them so she didn't seem suspicious.

"Done!" Jen said.

"Thank you so much." Harry said as he reached for the bottle in her right hand. Jennifer panicked knowing that he was taking the non drugged drink.

"I'm gonna grab my phone." Jen said as an excuse to put the drink in the fridge, allowing her not to drink it. When she walked back out with her phone Harry smiled at her in a way that made her glad she didn't drug him.... Yet.
