I was getting married... Married... He proposed to me... The wedding would be in a month. It would be just me, Kye, a pastor, Myra, and Kye's friend Mike.
"Riya... We're getting married soon... Would you want to... You know... Start a family... After the wedding... Maybe..." Kye asked.
I had never thought about a family of my own... Would I be a good mother? How would Myra react?...
I nodded at him...
"You'd start a family with me?... Really?" He asked, smiling.
"Yes... Yes of course..." I said, smiling.
He hugged me tight. He'd be my husband soon, and after that, we'd start a family of our own...
We'd be a perfect family. I am so happy... I know we're so young, but after what we've been through, we've had to grow up fast... And who knows what tomorrow will bring, so we have to live our lives now.
She laid down under the willow, and I laid down beside her. She was beautiful... She was everything I have ever wished for...
"Kye... I'm worried... Do you think I'll be a good mother?..." Riya asked.
"Yes... I think you'll be a perfect mother. Don't doubt yourself, you're perfect... I love you..." I said.
She smiled and laid her head on my chest.
"I love you too..." She whispered.
Time went on and we both fell asleep.
The next morning was the day we had to get her dress. She was so happy about picking her wedding dress. Her eyes shone with hope and happiness, and I couldn't help but smile.
When we got to town, she was already smiling bright.
"Kye, I'm so excited! I'm picking out my wedding dress... It's like a dream come true..." She said, beaming.
I smiled at her.
"Have fun, baby girl. I'll be with Mike for the day. I'll be back soon... I love you so much... Have fun..." I said, and kissed her cheek.
She hugged me, and skipped off to find her dress. She was so happy, and I couldn't think anything else I'd rather have for her.
I walked back into the center of town to find Kye waiting for me. He smiled at me, and I beamed back.
"Have fun, baby girl?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes, I found the perfect dress. Oh, I can't wait!" I said, happily.
He reached out his hand, and I took it. We walked hand in hand back to our little cabin. He was so perfect, and I was so proud to be getting married to him soon.
When we got to the cabin, I noticed something... There were footprints around it.
"Kye... Someone's been here..." I said.
He saw the footprints too, and got a worried expression.
"We have go... We'll stay at Myra's place, but they're back..." He said.
I nodded, and we ran back to town until we reached Myra's place. She let us in immediately, and we knew we'd be safe here... The day wasn't so good anymore...
