Luke brought me to my doctors appointment the next day, he kept saying supportive and encouraging things that didn't have any relation to what was actually going on.
We were currently walking somewhere in Sydney. I don't even know, I lost track of where we were after the fifth turn from the doctors office..... Hopefully Luke knew where we were because I couldn't tell you if my life depended on it.
"Where are we going?" I asked still following Luke's direction.
"It occurred to me that we need to go on a date." He stated reaching for my hand.
"When did this thought 'occur'?" I raised my eyebrows.
"When the doctor was talking about stuff."
"Mmhmm. You do realize that normally you'd ask to go on a date before just dragging me on one."
"Well incase you haven't caught on yet, we're not normal people. And this isn't a 'normal' situation."
I opened my mouth about to reply when he cut me off. "How about the beach? That's romantic right?"
I laughed "So you're the romantic type are you?"
He paused looking in my hazel eyes "There's something about you that makes me want to be." My heart jumped.
I couldn't think of anything to say. If I did I'd probably just ruin the moment anyway, so instead I just leaned up and kissed him.
After a moment he pulled away smiling, "the kissing part is supposed to wait till the end if the date."
"What would the fun be in that? And besides you said so yourself, this isn't a normal situation." I grinned
"I did didn't I?" He leaned down to brush my lips slightly. "But the wait makes it so much more worth it." He pulled away.
When we arrived at the beach Luke made me try on an emerald green bikini while he got swim trunks and a sand pail with shovels. Refusing to let me pay.
He set down his sand pail and lifted me over his shoulder running toward the ocean.
"Hey! Put me down!" I screamed kicking my legs careful not to kick him in the face.
"Not yet!" He yelled reaching the water.
"No! Don't do this!" I tried to hold back my giddiness. Just as I felt the spray of the ocean Luke dived forward.
The waves enveloped me as I momentarily sunk before I swam up breaking the surface. I grinned like an idiot, I blinked a few times before realizing Luke hadn't come up yet.
I started panicking, then arms embraced me from behind lifting me slightly. His lips met my neck kissing me softly.
"Mmm. Salted to perfection."
My worry faded as I turned to face Luke. His eyes were the same blue as the ocean surrounding us.
"Now is it kissing time?" I asked innocently.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, "That's just too bad." I pressed my lips to his.
