Nobody was home when we got there so Luke volunteered to keep me company. We just talked and played video games.
After a lot of gaming and three potato chip bags later Ashton tumbled through the door.
He looked hungover, and confused when he saw Luke and I sitting on the sofa not arguing.
I smiled at my brother who was having trouble forming words. "Hey Ash."
He nodded "Luke?"
"He was the only one at Jake's that was awake, he offered to walk me home."
"Luke?" He repeated "what alternate universe is this?"
"She was alone and I have nothing to do today anyway so I stayed here so she wouldn't get bored." Luke said simply.
"Luke, can I talk to you." The was he said it sounded more like a demand than a question.
Luke nodded following my brother to the kitchen.
I followed when they were out of sight, standing behind the wall listening in on the conversation. I might as well right? I know it's gonna be about me anyway.
"....If you hurt her I swear to god Luke...."
Luke cut him off. "Mate, there is nothing to worry about. Nothing is going on between us. Besides, I met someone." Luke said smoothly as my heart sunk.
"Wouldn't you like to know?"
I ran back to the couch grabbing my phone. "Who you talking to sis?" I heard Ashton's voice coming towards me.
"Just Savannah, she wants me to go with her to the mall." I lied.
"Do you need a ride?"
"No, she said she'd pick me up." I smiled, "I have to go change."
I quickly texted Savannah before hopping in the shower.
I slipped into an All Time Liw shirt with half-sleeves and paired it with a mini skirt.
I ran a brush through my hair leaving it in its natural waves.
And lastly I grabbed my favourite wedges hearing a honk from outside.
Savannah's short hair was curled slightly. She wore a pink dress, and Ray Bans hid her blue eyes.
"So where did you run off to last night?"
