We woke up late in the morning, squinting at the sun that was already high in the sky. Christian, who appeared to have been awake for the past hour, was walking mindlessly towards the Cave.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” One of the scouts warned.
Of course, Christian didn’t listen. He just kept meandering towards the Cave. Then suddenly, when Christian was about ten feet from the Cave, there was a huge flash of white light. It blinded us all for a few seconds, then we came to our senses and we saw Christian lying on the ground, moaning in pain. Surrounding the Cave was a pink energy shield, pulsating in light every few seconds.
“What the heck was that?!” Michael shouted.
“That my friend is what you guys figure out.” One of the scouts responded.
“What do you mean?” Michael asked.
“You nerds will use your thinkey brains and figure out how to disable that energy shield.”
“I have an idea,” said Christian, “but I’m not sure if it will work.”
