2. "Who are you?"
I grabbed my backpack and raced out to the bus with a half-eaten strawberry Poptart in my hand. As I climbed up the steps, I heard the busdriver greet me with a friendly "Good Morning". I walked to the back of the bus, where the Junior High and High School students sit. "Who are you?" I heard a voice say. I looked up and saw a blonde headed girl, with a pink skirt and matching boots stare in my direction. "Myer. Shelby Myer", I replied. "Look Girl Scout, this isn't a crime scene." I heard the girl snap. "You don't need to act like Sherlock Holmes". "It would be nice to start the conversation with a simple 'Hello' you know", I said under my breath as I sat in a seat. "Fine.", she said annoyed. "Hello, my name is Amanda", she said rolling her eyes. "I've never seen you around before", I told her. "I moved her over the summer, and I became instantly popular., Amanda said. "I'm not surprised you don't know me. I mean who would tell a nerd like you?", she snapped looking at my Pokemon shirt. I knew why she was so popular. She was pretty, and obviously rich. She was wearing diamond earrings with a matching necklace, bracelet and belt. I also noticed the charm bracelet on her wrist. I knew it from somewhere. It was the Frozen one from Kohl's, the one I wanted for Christmas. "You like my jewelry?", she asked as I stared at the charm bracelet. "I got it from Kohl's for $125.00". "It's nice", I said with a sad look on my face. "If you like it so much, why don't you just buy one?" she asked fiddling with the Olaf and Sven charms. "My family can't afford it", I said under my breath. "Probably because they spent all their money on that hideous shirt", she said smirking as we got off the bus.
