20. Dreaming of Tomorrow.
They woke up together to someone playing a very loud radio station that was only playing 5 Seconds of Summer. Brittany snuggled close to Chance, and he wrapped his arms around her. They stayed close to each other as the snow outside fell softly. They watched it fall in silence, just like their love grow. Silent as the snow falling, they loved each other a little more. Close a pages in a book, they laid beside each other. Chance kissed her cheek lightly, as the snow outside. Her heart beat in time with his, and she felt it on her chest. They drifted back to sleep together, and they felt safe for the first time in a long time. The silence felt warm around them, even as the cold wind whipped around the building trying to get at them, trying to tear them away from each other. She fell asleep to the beating of his heart. He fell asleep to her steady heart beat on his chest.
They dreamed of each other then. Nothing could tear them away from each other, they were too strong for anything to tear them away. So close, even as they slept. They slept together in the world of war they lived in, in the cold. It was icy and harsh outside, yet it was warm in that bed they slept in. Wind whipping around the world, in every home on that cruel planet, except that one they were in, together.
Chance slept next to Brittany happily, and dreaming of what will happen in the future for them. He imagined in his dreams, them side by side, watching the sunset over the ocean, miles and miles, far away. Nothing could ruin them. They were too close together.
Brittany dreamed of Chance. His arm around her, and they were sitting by a beautiful pond of water, on a bench hung on a tree.
