They walked to the street ahead, and there were no cars driving by. Hand in hand, they down the street, all the way to the hospital. The nurse wasn't paying attention, and she asked why they were here. Then she looked up and gasped.
"I'm so sorry! Omigosh, I didn't realize... Please, come this way." she said, cheeks red. They followed her into a room, empty except a chair, and a table, a bed, and a tv. She gestured for them to sit down on the bed, and she walked to another room. When she came back, she had tissues, and a towel. She sat down and started wiping the blood off Britany's cheek. Brittany winced, and she blinked the tears back. Chance held her hand the whole time.
After the nurse had taken care of the both of them, she told them that they could go.
"Just, don't mention that you were here, I don't want this to cost anything, and I don't want you two to get attacked for being here. Good luck you two." the nurse whispered to them both.
"Thank you so much. This means a lot to us." Brittany whispered back. Chance smiled and whispered, 'Thank you'. They left hand in hand, and the nurse waved good-bye as she scurried to her desk, like she never left. Nobody noticed any of them were there, or gone.
Chance took a breath to keep the thoughts away. Brittany noticed, and held his hand tighter. She wanted to assure him that she was there and she was fine. None of this was his fault. She just had to get him to know that was true. He held her hand tighter.
"I love you. I'm sorry for everything. I know you think it's not my fault, so I am trying to see that. I love you so gosh darn much, Brittany." he said staring into her eyes. She stared back, and she leaned her head on his shoulder. He loved her so gosh darn, much.
They walked up to the hotel, which was empty. They walked in and they just walked to a random room. All the doors were left open from the riot. They walked into it and Brittany laid down on the bed. She felt so tired. He laid next to her, silently. Today was too much. They both knew it, and that's what was running through their heads. They snuggled closer to each other, and they started to drift away to sleep. They didn't care if it was too soon to fall asleep next to each other. This wasn't for a show, it was them being themselves. They loved each other, and nothing could change that. They finally drifted to sleep, hand in hand, snuggled close.
