Christmas of Perfection

Christmas is just around the corner, but will it be the way we hope this year? Will it be the perfect christmas we all hope for, or will it be ruined this year... again?

3. Another day.

After yesterday, everyone was quiet. Michelle, (Brittany's mom), was very snappy that morning. She must have been up last night trying to get over the incident yesterday. Personally, Brittany thought that she did what she was told and nothing bad, but she knew that today was going to be bad.

As she got up from the breakfast nook, Michelle just stared. (Michelle is her mom).

"Mom. why are you staring at me like that?", Brittany said quietly to keep it calm. Her mom's eyes suddenly burned with anger as they stared into Brittany's own.

"Don't talk back to me!" was all she said. As she stormed out of the room, Brittany suddenly felt shocked. All she said was don't talk back to me, and that was it.

As she got around, she spotted her Pre-Algebra homework that she forgot to do last night. She thought in her head immediatly, "Oh shoot! I can't believe that I forgot to do my Pre-Algebra homework!".

She rushed into it, and actually got it done. She had just put it away and she ran into the bathroom to do her hair as her brother Xaine screamed, "BUS!!!", as loud as he could.

She pulled it into a messy bun, grabbed her bag, and ran out the door in her socks. Luckily, she had thrown her heels in her bag yesterday for an emergency situation.

She got on the bus, and sat down in the next empty seat and slipped on her black high heeled boots. All the kids around her were staring like, 'What the heck? Why is she just now getting her shoes on?" But, Brittany didn't mind at all.

When the bus pulled into the school, she had forgotten about her morning, and was ready to face the world.
