City Chick to Country Gal

Mallory Mayhew. LA City girl. She has the perfect life living in the suburbs of Beverley Hills with her business man dad, fashion store chain owner mom and a few siblings that she'd rather not mention but everything's going to change. When her dad gets offered a job in rural Canada, Mallory has to pack up the bikinis and get out the wooly jumpers which is something she's never had to do. How will she manage this transition?

4. Big news

After school, Mallory walked to one of her moms stores close to school and they drove home together (as there dad had picked up the other kids) and Caroline said "I saw your texts on Sunday when you got home from Laguna. I see you and Logan had sex." Making Mallory choke on her Starbucks frappucino. "Oh my god mom why do you care so much! You didn't care when Madelyb broke the news that she was knocked up!" She yelled. "I'm mad because I don't want you to end up pregnant like she did!" "I didn't do it to get pregnant! I hate Aubrey so I'd hate having my own kid!" And with that Mallory got out her phone and text one of her friends as she'd rather block out her moms whines.

They got home and Mallory saw the whole family, including Neveyah who was supposed to be in New York sat around the table. "What's up dad?" Mallory whined. "I have some news." David Mayhew said. "Oh god what now!" She said sitting next to 15 year old Landon. "We're moving to Canada! I was offered to help a branch in Vancouver but were living in the country in a converted farm!" Caroline butted in. "I'm not going!" Mallory whined. "You are Mallory and that's final!" David yelled. "What about Madelyn's kid not seeing it's dad and Neveyah!" She moaned. "Neveyah's going to be in New York and Madelyn's starting college in Wyoming so she's not going." He explained. "What about me and UCLA!"  "We're finding a Canadian college for you to go to." "I'm moving out as soon as college is approaching so don't fix much for me." She said storming upstairs but hearing Landon and 13 year old Adam say "It sounds great dad." Oh how she hated them and hated the idea of Canada.
