2. Steven Has A Secret
It didn't take long before Archer Fade got back to the subject at hand: her Golden Gun. Steven grimaced. Reluctantly, he invited her over, assuring her they'd find the The Golden Gun. Archer Fade grabbed her handbag and disembarked immediately. After hanging up the phone, Parker realized that he was in trouble. He had to find a place to hide the The Golden Gun and he had to do it quickly. He figured that if Archer Fade took her bicycle, he had take at least ten minutes before Archer Fade would get there. But if she took the Range Rover? Then he would be really in trouble.
Before he could come up with any reasonable ideas, Steven Parker was interrupted by seven magpies that were lured by the Golden Gun. Steven grimaced; 'Not again', he thought. Feeling worried, he recklessly reached for his ninja star and carefully maimed every last one of them. Apparently this was an adequate deterrent--the discouraged critters began to scurry back toward the bush, squealing with discontent. He exhaled with relief. That's when he heard the Range Rover rolling up. It was Archer Fade.
As she pulled up, she felt a sense of urgency. She had had to make an unscheduled stop at McDonald's to pick up a 12-pack of ripened avocados, so she knew she was running late. With a hasty leap, Archer was out of the Range Rover and went scandalously trotting toward Parker's front door. Meanwhile, inside, Steven was panicking. Not thinking, he tossed the Golden Gun into a box of dangerous oil-soaked rags and then slid the box under a chair. Steven was worried but at least the The Golden Gun was concealed. The doorbell rang.
