4. Dramatic Exit
Archer Fade stared at Parker for what what must've been eleven seconds. Duly concerned about the looming crises, Steven launched himself flamboyantly in Fade's direction, clearly desperate. Archer Fade grabbed the Golden Gun and bolted for the door. It was locked. Steven let out a saucy chuckle. 'If only you hadn't been so protective of that thing, none of this would have happened, Archer Fade,' he rebuked. Steven Parker always had been a little selfish, so Archer knew that reconciliation was not an option; she needed to escape before Steven did something crazy, like... start chucking dangerous oil-soaked rags at her or something. Determinedly she gripped her Golden Gun tightly and made a dash toward the window, diving headlong through the glass panels.
Parker looked on, blankly.
"What the ...?That seemed excessive. The other door was open, you know."
Silence from Archer Fade. 'And to think, I varnished that window frame eight days ago...it never ends!' Suddenly he felt a tinge of concern for Archer. "Oh. You ..okay?" Still silence. Steven walked over to the window and looked down. Archer Fade was gone.
