The Death That Consumes Us

"The death...of people. The death...of a party. The death...of a joke, of the humour that was once loved, laughed by the questionable mortal being. The death...that fills us, controls us, and lastly, consumes us."

1. Prologue

"The death...of a people. The death...of a party. The death...of a joke, of the humour that was once loved, laughed by the questionable mortal being. The death...that consumes us, fills us, controls us." The cloaked, hooded, skeletal being stood, tall and proud, his voice smooth, yet rough, everything that people would want to hear right before their unadulterated death.

His voice was also that of what he spoke of, and more. The death of a people, a party, a joke and unforgotten humour. It was also that of the consuming, soul swallowing pain, deliverance of death. It told of a once forgotten tale, forgotten by everybody except him.

Death.
