"We should really have a Christmas tree!"
I opened my eyes and I saw directly Nialls smile. I yawned and I tried to think of what to say. Christmas Tree? He lay in bed and thought about a Christmas tree?
"A big Christmas tree!" he continued, and he sat up with a satisfied face. "Well, today we're going to buy a Christmas tree."
"In Sweden takes you into the tree type the day before Christmas Eve."
He waved his hand and he laughed a little bit.
"Who cares?" he put his feet down on the floor and he stood up quickly. "We aren't in Sweden now and we wont be here for Christmas, so why not enjoy when we are at home?"
I smiled a little bit.
"Have you baubles and such things?"
Niall nodded. He disappeared into the bathroom and I heard he turned on the shower.
"We'll certainly buy a spruce today."
I don't know if I felt some anticipation or fear. Niall grabbed my hand and we left the house and yard by walking. The paparazzi took photos, but it seemed as Niall didn't care. He held my hand tightly and he smiled kindly at them.
I frowned and I couldn't help but smile.
"You're in a good mood?"
Niall nodded with satisfaction.
"Well, why wouldn't I be in a good mood?" he smiled at me. "I have a girlfriend and she loves me. What more need a guy in your life?"
I grinning and I flushed at the same time. I heard that some of the paparazzi followed us, but I chose to do as Niall, not bother me over that.
I had not experienced that anticipation of a Christmas tree before, not in the way Niall made me feel. We came to a vendor who had lots of Christmas trees and Niall chose to walk around and look at almost all of them. I saw fans who took photos of us and I saw the paparazzi that followed, but none of it bothered him. I wondered if I could ask why, but at the same time Niall seemed to be in a good mood. I didn't want to ruin the day for him.
I stayed at his side and I saw what he was pointing at. I smiled a little bit.
"And what makes that one so unique?"
He smiled and he took his arm around my shoulders.
"Darling, when the matter of such choices, I'm a expert." He looked at me. "I picked out our Christmas trees at home in Ireland, just because I have an eye for detail."
I saw that he was joking. He said it with a twinkle in his eyes and he kissed me lightly on the lips.
"But if you have a better suggestion Jenny. Then, I think that you should talk about it here and now!"
I just laughed. I saw at the Christmas tree again. I saw no difference between that one and many of the others. I chose to nod and I let him choose.
"Okay, and how do we take it home?"
"You know that I have muscles?" He showed off his arm and he flexed it. I didn't see the muscles under his clothes, but I nodded.
"Okay, you carry it home?"
"You know one thing?"
I giggled. He could have it over his shoulder, but he had problems.
He smiled contentedly.
"This is the first time that we do this together." he smiled at me. "I hope there will be more times?"
I couldn't help but laugh. He was a different person and he didn't even see all the people who stayed on the street. They smiled at him, because they saw Niall Horan with a Christmas tree. I couldn't help but feel the same thrills and I realized that he was more accustomed to eyes against what I was.
He smiled when I had answered. He gave me even a little laugh.
"Should I or you have the honor of putting the star on the top?" he asked. Also this time it was as if he was joking, almost testing me.
"You?" I got up. "At home it was the man of the house who put it on the tree."
"We live in an equal society." he smiled at me. "We can help each other?"
I just laughed and I nodded. He looked at me expectantly and I realized that he really had planned this day. Perhaps he had been thinking about this half the night, when I slept?
"How did you come up with this idea?"
He didn't have a good answer at first, but then it seemed like he got a good answer.
"Somewhere when I realized that we must create common traditions."
I understand, but at the same time I didn't understand.
"We have different traditions and I thought that we could create our own tradition. A common, that only we have."
"Oh!" I began to understand. "So this is the beginning of a life where we share things?"
"And I think it's about time we start today."
Niall picked up a box of bullets and lights and everything to the Christmas tree. He posed it in the middle of the floor and he looked pleased.
"How about to start?"
I laughed a little bit. He really was in great spirits. I took up a Christmas tree ball and I hung it on the tree. Niall hugged me directly from behind and he kissed my neck lightly.
"Are you ready for Christmas music?" he asked tenderly. I smiled and I nodded. Quickly, he made so that it poured out music throughout the room and quickly I found myself in the right mood. Niall brought two glasses of hot chocolate and then we were in full swing.
After an hour, we sat on the sofa, close together and we watched the Christmas tree. Niall had his arm around my shoulders and he was as if he believed that Santa Claus would come at any second.
I smiled and I kissed him lightly on the cheek.
He agreed and he smiled at me.
"Shall we go out and buy Christmas presents?"
I didn't know if he was serious, but I saw in Nialls eyes that he was restless. He wanted something to happen and he seemed excited.
"Okay?" I whispered. "But I don't know what to buy for you?"
He kissed me and I felt his tongue playing with my. He ended the kiss relatively quickly,
"You just need to be with me and that's enough."
Okay I admit that I had a poor imagination. I had no idea what I should buy for my parents and at the same time, I wanted to give something to Niall. He walked with me all the time and he seemed just as confused as me. Fans were everywhere and I continued to notice that they followed Niall with their eyes. As always, he didn't care and instead he held my hand tightly. I understood that he wanted to highlight to the world that I was with him.
"And what do you want for Christmas?" he asked, and he smiled at me. I blushed.
"You gave me tickets to Sweden?" I got out. "Isn't that enough?"
He seemed to hesitate.
"Are you sure that you don't wish anything more?"
I shrugged my shoulders and I had no idea what to say.
"You don't want anything from me." I looked at him. "Therefore, I just want to have tickets and that's enough."
He seemed to understand me, but I saw at him that he had other plans.
"But if I already know what I want to give you?"
I laughed a little bit.
"So why did you ask then?"
He blushed a little bit and it was as if he realized that he was saying too much.
"Are you hungry?"
He changed the subject.
He smiled at me.
"But I'm hungry and we can take something simple to eat?"
We found a small eatery and even there I felt stared. The fans seemed to be everywhere. Even adults seemed to know who was Niall.
"Do you ever get used to this?" I asked Niall and I nodded to a couple of girls who couldn't let go of him with their eyes. He looked up from the plate and he looked at them.
"No!" he mumbled. "I never get used to our fans, but I try to manage it."
Niall then looked at me and I noted that he wasn't sure what I felt.
"Darling, maybe one day One Direction aren't known anymore and then everything will be normal again. I'm grateful that I was able to get this, therefore I have to accept that the fans comes with the package."
"You don't need to explain, I know how it works." I ate more food and I swallowed. "It was just a question."
He laughed a little bit.
"It's okay to ask."
I looked at him. His eyes sparkled and he smiled obliquely towards me. I saw at him that he cared and that he loved me. I didn't hesitate to be with him and actually I didn't care about the fans. It was just the feeling that everyone saw what we did that remained.
"So would you be willing to move in with me?"
The question came from nowhere and I gasped.
"I know, I go fast forward, but you have already been with me for a few days and we get along well?"
I shook my head quickly.
"Niall, we can't give ourself into relationship so quickly?"
He nodded and he watched me closely.
"But if you want you know that I have room for you? Or we can look for another house, which we decorate together?"
I gasped again. He meant that we would stay together from now on?
"If we can manage to feel like this to the New Year's Eve, maybe." I really didn't think we'd make any mistakes. "And you're still on tour half the year, if not more?"
"And that's why I don't consider that there's a problem." he replied honestly. "You wont have me around you all the time."
I leaned back in the chair and I was thinking.
"Are you serious?"
He nodded and he ate more food. There was silence for a few extra seconds between us and it was as if he expected an answer.
"You mean it seriously?" I whispered. Niall looked up from the plate, and he raised his eyebrows.
"Let's put it like this. I don't mind if you say yes. I know it sounds really crazy, but at the same time not." He put down his fork. "I'm still not home all year round and it's just unnecessary to pay two rents?"
I didn't know what to say.
"I'll think about it."
Niall was happy, although I didn't say yes.
I bought anyway Christmas presents for my parents. We ended up in a clothing store and I found a sweater for mom. Niall smiled at me as we stood in the queue to checkout.
"I'll just have to so something."
He laughed a little bit and he kissed me on the cheek.
"Pay and wait outside the store, I will soon come back."
I saw him fast leave me. I sighed and I sensed that he would buy me something. I didn't like the idea because he didn't want that I bought a gift to him. In the end, I pay.
I sat down on a bench outside the store and I tried to occupy myself with my mobile phone. I had several funds with Christmas presents and I was satisfied. Somehow, this Christmas would be fine and I knew that my parents would like Niall. By pure chance I peeked around and I saw a cluster of girls. They gazed at me, I saw that they were talking about me. I saw it in their eyes and I saw it on their way to be. I smiled a little bit. Maybe that one day they would understand that I was as normal as them? The problem was perhaps that Niall chose me, in their eyes? I noted that they surreptitiously photographed me with their mobile phones. The idea that people wanted photos of me felt strange. Why was I so different from them? I didn't take photos of them and put out on the net. I didn't think they would treat me like a celebrity, because I was just a normal and simple girl.
Niall just appeared out of nowhere and he stood in front of the bench with a big smile. I smiled and I stood up. He helped me with the bags and he took my hand in his.
"Shall we go home now?" he asked. I nodded. In fact I was tired and I felt throughout the body that I needed to rest. I noticed that the girls, who I had seen earlier, now-footed even more and I smiled a little weak. Niall realized what it was I had seen.
"They never give up." he whispered, and he pulled me along the street. "I guess they got good photos of you? Maybe I can have one of them as wallpaper on my computer?"
"Yes, perhaps?" I whispered, and then I looked at him. "And what did you buy?"
"You know that I too must have secrets and who knows what Santa Claus leaves under the tree?"
I smiled and I noticed that he was smiling like a little boy. Niall had so many faces and he could be anything from a mature man to a little kitten that you just wanted to cuddle.
"Niall, I have sad news." I got up. "I don't believe in Santa Claus."
He played shocked and he stared at me with big eyes.
"Are you serious?"
"My dad has been the plot and I know that it's he who dresses up."
Niall gasped and I saw how amused he was.
"Jenny, you are a traitor! Santa Claus exists and he only gives out presents to good children who believe in him. You have to become a believers."
"No, not maybe!" he gasped jokingly. "You must believe in him!"
We crawled into bed and Niall put on the television. I lay in his bosom, and I tried to relax. This day had seemed so long and I was tired.
I looked up at him.
"Don't be afraid to say no, if you feel like it."
I understood that he was referring to the conversation about moving in together.
"I know!" I answered. "It's just that I was barely ready for a boyfriend and now you ask me if I want to stay with you?"
He nodded and he ran his hand through my hair.
"I know I'm goofy and that I should be quiet, but it's a good idea. I'm going on tour and it's better that I know you are in our common home. I don't know why I feel that way, but I'm honest."
"But it's a big step to take?"
"I shouldn't have asked?"
I didn't answer. I didn't know what to say? I understood him, but at the same time I was unsure.
"Niall, let's think about it." I whispered and I looked at the television again. "We have whole life ahead and who says we must do everything in one month?"
"Okay, I promise that I'll not going to pester you."
"I don't think that you nag."
He kissed me on the head and I felt his arms around my body.
"I love you."
I enjoyed and my whole body was hot.
"And I love you, Niall!"
