A/N Hey guys! So this story is about a really cool dream I had about Katy Perry and I wanted to turn it into a story :) I really love feedback and my story is also available on Wattpad @shaelea_baby Okay thanks guys and enjoy! :) also comment and like for moreeee!!
When I was a little girl I mom took me to a Katy Perry concert although it wasn't really a big concert. It was in a small arena, with those bleachers that you sit on at football games. The ones you can climb on from behind. Well anyways after the “concert” Katy Perry came to see and talk to everyone. All of us kids were running all over the place.
“Mommy! Look at me” I called and looked over to see my mommy talking to the pretty girl that was singing for u. They both turned to look at me. “Look, I can climb so good!” I shouted and began climbing up the back of one of the bleachers. My mom shook her head and I saw the beautiful girl start to walk around to the front of the bleacher. When I got to the top she was standing there looking at me.
“Hi.” She smiled.
“Hi, I’m, a really good climber” I boasted and she laughed.
“yes you are!”
“You’re very pretty.” I blushed as I complimented her and she laughed.
“You’re very pretty too sweetheart, how old are you?”
“I’m this many!” I said holding up one hand signaling that I was 5. “I’m a big girl now.”
“Yes you are!” She smiled. She brought me back to my mom. I didn’t want her to put me down though. So I clung to her, hugging her tight as I heard my mom laugh.
“Brooke seems to really like you.” My mommy smiled at me as the pretty singer rocked me back and forth. “Can I take a pic?”
“Of course!” she said smiling.
My mommy held up her camera and I smiled big, the pretty girl smooching her lips against my cheek and that made me laugh, and that’s when my mommy took the picture. The girl looked at the picture and smiled really big. She looked very happy when she smiled. She took my mommies phones and did something quickly before handing it back to her.
“Well I hate to have to go but I have to be in Edmonton in 6 hours. High River is such a nice town.” The pretty girl said and set me down. “Bye Brooke, I hope I get to see you again someday. I always wanted a little sister. You’re big brother is very lucky.”
“You’ll come watch me climb again someday?” I asked looking up at her.
“For sure.” She promised and gave me one last hug before leaving the arena.
8 YEARS LATER
“Happy birthday Brooke!!” My mom and brother cheered when I came down for breakfast. My brother Cole hugged me.
“Finally 13!” He said.
“Finally a teenager.” My mom said. “And that means you get a special birthday present.”
“What is it?” I asked excitedly.
“Well, you’re going to have to go into your closet and bring down the suit case in there.” My brother said.
I ran up the stairs and sure enough there was a big suit case in my closet, I dragged it down the stairs and opened it up on the living room floor. It was filled with my clothes and make-up and hair stuff. Not that I wore a lot of make-up, just mostly foundation and lip gloss. There was also a couple of little wrapped presents sitting on the top of my clothes.
My brother pulled them out and handed me one. I opened it and inside was a couple of things, a brand-new writing journal and a sketch book. I’ve always loved to draw. I opened the next present Cole gave me and pulled out a pencil case filled with sketch pencils.
“Thank you guys this is the best present ever!” I said hugging both of them.
“Don’t say that quite yet. There’s one more.” My mom said handing it to me. It was a card and when I opened it, it played “Last Friday Night” By Katy Perry. A slip of paper fell out and I picked it up to read it, it read, Issued to Brooke Manson, Floor seating; standing crowd. Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour Saturday, October 25th, 7:30 p.m. Arizona,u.s.a.
“Oh my god!!” I squealed and jumped up and down. “This is tonight!!” My family smiled as I hugged the both and ran to tuck my special presents into my suitcase. “But what’s with the suitcase.”
“We are going to stay there for a couple of weeks I guess.” Cole said.
“But eat your pancakes because we have to be at the Airport in 2 hours.” My mom said. I sat down at the kitchen table as mom put some delicious chocolate chip pancakes in front of me. I wolfed them down, they were so good.
Cole packed my suit case in the car while I grabbed my laptop and chargers and packed them into a small carry on. While I slipped my headphones, phone, and wallet into my pocket. I also grabbed a blanket my mom crocheted off my bed and a book to read on the plane. I’m a really big book worm, my friends say I’m always reading. I looked at my phone and read the few messages saying happy birthday and the one from my best friend, abi.
Happy birthday bbg! Have fun in Arizona, It almost killed me keeping the secret these last few weeks. I love ya girly!! Text me later!
I locked my phone and slipped it back in my pocket as I ran out to the car.
“Are you ready for the best few weeks of your life?” My brother asked smiling at me. I smiled back and nodded.
We got to the airport, and put our bags on the trolley, and went through the metal detector. I was so excited. As we were seated on the place I plugged my head phones into my ipod and turned it onto all Katy Perry. ‘Not Like The Movies’ came on and I mouthed along the words and looked out the window. I always loved being on a plane I found it so cool to fly, even though it felt like it was just a car.
The intercom came on and the pilot said, “20 minutes till landing.” I checked the time and it was 4:30 pm. 3 hours until the concert I was so excited. When the plane landed I jumped up and followed my family off the plane, running to the trolley to find my suit case, as it came down the line, I hauled it off, my family doing the same. My brother slung his arm around my shoulder we walked out and my mom hailed a cab. Mom gave him directions to our hotel, he was pretty nice, he wished me happy birthday and gave us a free ride for a “birthday present”.
Mom opened the door to the hotel and my jaw dropped; this wasn’t a hotel room.. well it was but it was so much better. There was a living room when you walked in with a huge flat screen TV and a couch, with a swinging love seat, like the ones you see in rich people’s houses or on some back porches. It was really cool! My mom directed me to my bedroom and I peered in, it was so cool! There was a queen sized bed in the middle of the room, and a window on the wall to the left with a window seat, set up fancy with pillows. There was a white desk across from the bed, and a tall white book case thing.
I set my suit case down as my mom knocked on the door.
“Get ready for the concert sweetie, we are leaving in 45 minutes, it’s 5:15.” She said and I nodded while she closed the door.
I opened my suit case and pulled out some white jeans, and a coral blue tank top, I opened the side pocket and took out some brown flat sandals. I opened the small pocket at the top and took out some white pearl earrings. I plugged my curling iron in and let it heat up while I got changed.
Once my curler was hot enough I sat down at the desk and began curling my hair to perfection. It wasn’t hard and I loved how my hair was when it was curled, it was belly-button length blonde hair so when it was curled it reached just under my breasts. I skipped the make-up, I’d probably end up crying from excitement and I don’t really need very much make-up anyway.
Everyone said I looked older than my age because well for one, I was 12 (well I guess I’m 13 now) and I had size 34 D boobs. It was honestly a blessing and a curse, but mostly a curse. It made it harder to play sports, and older guys were always hitting on me and I found that gross. Plus I had to wear a size larger shirt than I needed because they made the shirt lift of higher. And also I acted pretty mature for my age, well most of the time, I do act like a 13 year old sometimes.
I slipped my phone in my pocket and grabbed my bathroom to go brush my teeth. The bathroom was impressive too, the tub was a Jacuzzi, the one or with jets. Whoa. My friends all think I’m weird because I really love baths. I can sit in a bath for hours on end, reading, relaxing, or playing on phone. I finished brushing my teeth and it was 5:50, my mom and Cole were in the living room when I came out, there was a ceaser salad on the counter for me so I sat down to eat it quickly. I put the dish in the sink when I was finished
