When I arrived at the airport, I jumped out of the cab and walked to the back of the car. The trunk was already open so I carefully picked up the suitcases and put them on the curb. I slammed the trunk and handed a $10 tip to the cab driver through the window. I stared off as the cab drove off, gazing on at the cab as the red brake lights flashed, blinding my eyes. I snapped out of my gaze and picked up my suitcases and strolled through the electronic double doors into the airport.
Once I got inside, I checked my suitcases in under my Aunt's last name, Bower, and was on my way. I didn't think it would be easy, I always have a hard time at airports.
I saw the elevator and walked quickly over there before it got to busy at the secrurity center. I weaved through the line and found the security guard. He nodded for me to come through and hold my arms out. I did as I was told.
After that was over, I saw my Gate.
My Flight was 114, Gate 8.
I saw my last name on a white piece of paper far off in the distance.
Shuffling through the crazy tourists, I made it to the tall man with a chauffeur outfit on. He had no hair and light blue eyes.
He raised his eyebrows at me.
''I- I'm Kayla Mathews'' I said nervously, my palms suddenly getting sweaty.
The expression on his face told me to follow him.
He pointed at the Gate and said the flight would be leaving shortly.
I thanked him and walked down the narrow hallway.
I saw the pilot in the cockpitt and his face lit up.
''Hello Miss Mathews'' he said with a bright smile.
He was a young man, with dark brown hair and blue eyes, and few wrinkles around his face.
''Hi there'' I responded smiling slightly.
''We're leaving now" He said kindly.
I glanced around the airplane.
''But there's no one in here yet" I said as a matter of fact.
"That's because it's a private flight. Your Aunt owns this plane" he said with a smirk, saying 'I told you so'.
My eyebrows raised.
"Now please sit. We must leave. We’re running late" he said buckling himself in his seat.
