4. Chapter 4
We walked the rest of the way up to the castle, dad explained that the castle was protected by a spell so you couldn’t apperate inside. As we grew closer to the castle I could see more and more of its amazing features, such as the magnificent towers that shot up all around the castle. Also as we got closer I could hear the sounds of voices echoing through the halls and could faintly smell what I imagined would be our feast. The interior of the castle was just as outstanding as the exterior, the halls were lined with ancient looking columns, the floor was stone and you could see where it had been worn away over the years by students. My father stopped us outside of a large door “this is the great hall, it is where you will have your meals, you are here a little earlier than the students because I have to discuss things with the headmaster and the other professors. You may wait outside the hall for the other students, I expect you to behave yourselves. It won’t be a long wait” he said, we all nodded “of course father” Sadie said, she was my father’s favorite child. He smiled at us “behave” he said and then he walked off to find the other professors and the headmaster.
