The Big Book of Demons

Demons lurk among us all. Songs are written about them, many worship them, many slaughter them and hunt them. But the majority fear them, cower from them for them to corrupt you and terrorize your very souls. This book, whether it may be of use to you is none of its concern, but to advise you, guide you and help against the beings of the dark, the fire, the hate. I and my sister are experienced Demon Hunters, and we know the horrors these creatures cause.

8. 6 - Behemoth

Behemoth - City of Bones

Division 3

Right, before I even get started on this wretch of a demon, let me put one thing out there: If I could, I would send these bastards back into their Realm.

Right, now that's out of the way, let me get down to work.

The Behemoth demon is a formless monstrosity much larger than a human and is of an oblong shape. It owns a double row of teeth lining the length of it's body. It has a rigid underside ... almost like a cockroach. A Behemoth devours everything in it's path, even people. Yes I know you're tough and powerful, but this will kill you. So quit being smug and deal with it!

When it's serrated jaws clack together, the Behemoth makes low insectile chittering sounds.

It's slimy (I need a better word, used that twice now. I'll get a new word later...) and composed of a viscous, mucus-like substance. It slithers in a slow oozing, boneless motion, compared to a slug, but with less of a shape.

Weapons and Powers:

Weapons - again, nothing.

Powers - now this is a much better story.

The slime from the Behemoth can be unaffected by certain blades, but the slime also makes it capable of healing it's wounds and reforming.

Not fun.

Ah, another fact which is very important: the Behemoth will go through spasms and shudders before it reforms, so if you think it's dead ... it's not. Just a quick warning...

How to Kill:

Just slash, stab and repeat. Before reforming, it goes through convulsive spasms and violent shudders before reforming which seeps it's energy, so keep slashing and retreating! Soon enough it will tire out then you can strike the final blow - only do this when the Behemoth is unable to reform any longer.

Just repeat with the stabbing and retreat until it tires. Keep away from that row of deadly teeth.

Be safe ... but how can you be safe in this line of work? Just follow the rules. Got it you little punk?
