36. 33 - Lords of Change
Lords of Change
The monstrosity stands almost 10 metres tall, its wings stretching even more so to 20 metres.
The Lords of Change are the Greater Daemons of Tzeentch and love nothing more than to manipulate, morph and modify what they please. They adore to see predictable circumstances be remade, destroying an entire world to see it renewed and order turned to ruin so it must take a new path. They have a lust for knowledge and with infinte wisdom in their minds, but in their process they are master puppeteers over their mortal victims. They like to corrupt their minds from behind the scenes of a battle field, so skilled that the strings are pulled that even the Lords of Change's playthings do not even know they are in the thrall of a Lord of Change's grip. They can make brothers turn on brothers, friends turn on friends and the most zealous of champions can be turned from the path of righteousness. A Lord of Change can look into a mortal's soul and read it like a book, seeing his dreams, his lies, his fears, his successes and his failures. If he should stare any longer, the mortal can become insane and delirious, all before he has even drawn his sword against this mighty foe.
Weapons and Powers:
This beast may only have a staff as a weapon, but this is made up for in the sheer amount of skill it has in being a sorcerer.
Being a sheer master in magic, a Lord of Change is surely the most powerful mage someone could set their eyes on. Without so much as lifting its claw, bodies mutate and writhe, buildings twist and melt, beings of madness and horror spring forth, a battalion of enemies maybe engulfed in hideous Warpfire and turning even the mightiest of heroes into a shaking pile of unnatural fear. The list of what they can do goes on, some being even more powerful than any of the above.
How to Kill:
So rare is it to see a Lord of Change as they are either weaving the fate of their victims, or overseeing a battle. It is not through lack of courage or ferocity, but because they wish to direct its forces and control the ebb and flow of the fighting.
But if one should come into contact with these terrible masters of psychic energy, one's faith must be ironclad in the face of such horror. Fail to do so will lead to your ultimate demise and loss of sanity. To strike it in a vital point shall bring it down, but it depends solely if the blow can be dealt at all.
If you feel your magic is as best as it can be, and that you feel it is without match, then quadruple that power and that will what you will be up against with a Lord of Change.
