18. 16 - Forgefiend
Even larger in height than a Maulerfiend when stood upright.
These gargantuan Daemon Engines are the biggest of their kind and for good reason. They are to sow death and destruction amongst mortals from afar. Their three cannons, two as their arms and one protruding from the mouth, are used ravage large vehicles or for huge squads of infantry. These daemons have a strong link to their Maulerfiend counterparts for one can be usually seen with the other to maximise destructive capability. However, unlike the Maulerfiend, the daemonic spirit's rage that has corrupted the vehicle does not power the beast, but instead two Warpfire engines that constantly burn are its main source of power.
So, in a way, it is not a vehicle that becomes the daemon, its the daemon that becomes the vehicle.
Weapons and Powers:
The Forgefiend can have three weapons, as previously stated. The first weapons is a Mawcannon, primarily called that because it is equipped in its jaws. Then, the two cannons for its arms can be two of two pairs. The first are Hades Autocannons that are like rotating miniguns that fire huge shells at very high speeds; these weapons are mainly used to demolish infantry to small chucks. The last set of weaponry are the Ectoplasma Cannons that fire hot plasma shots at the enemy in beams or heavy projectiles.
How to Kill:
If anything, a time when close combat could not be more emphasized to kill a daemon, it would with a Forgefiend. At range, this creature will annihilate your bones quicker than you can say "Oh damn...", and I am not even jesting. So melee with this juggernaut is the only way forward, and being that this creature has no defence against close quartered encounters, you shall have an easy time. Just make sure you have a sword that can pierce that armour...
Get up close and personal with this monster, and do not hesitate. Just make sure you don't get hit by one of its many cannons on the way there.
