The Big Book of Demons

Demons lurk among us all. Songs are written about them, many worship them, many slaughter them and hunt them. But the majority fear them, cower from them for them to corrupt you and terrorize your very souls. This book, whether it may be of use to you is none of its concern, but to advise you, guide you and help against the beings of the dark, the fire, the hate. I and my sister are experienced Demon Hunters, and we know the horrors these creatures cause.

3. 1 - Bloodletters

Bloodletters of Khorne
Warhammer

Division 2

TYPE:
Lesser Daemon

Size:
Some vary from slightly smaller than the average man, to twice the size.

About:
The Chosen of Khorne, Slaughter-kin and the Crimson Death are but a few of the many names they possess. Khorne is the Chaos God of Blood, and these daemons mirror his title. Bloodletters love nothing more than to butcher, rip and tear their enemies apart, bit by bit. They are some of the most vicious daemons known, becoming blind with blood lust when they see an enemy, running for them with no fear, no mercy and no remorse. Although they are weak compared to most demons, they use their strength in numbers, rushing a potential feast of gore in large groups and waves. When a horde of Bloodletters stampedes, make no mistake that headless corpses will follow behind it and the ground is wet with blood.

Weapons and Powers:
Bloodletters are only lesser daemons, so their wargear is basic. A simple Hellblade is their weapon, but make no mistake, a Hellblade is a devastating sword. It constantly burns with furious flames, allowing it to cut through even the thickest of armour; the sheer volume of heat just melting it away. Although, skill with these weapons is only at a novice level for a Bloodletter, merely using it as a tool to savage rather than an extension of itself.
Powers are zero. This creature has still yet to prove itself to the Blood God for it to be gifted with any sort of supernatural ability.

How to Kill:
A single Bloodletter is no match to a skilled Demon Hunter. Their skills with a sword are minimal, merely making large targeted slashes rather than a foresighted swing. This is a large advantage as a Demon Hunter can out wit, and out smart one with typical ease. However, do not get yourself surrounded by them, deep in combat, otherwise you will be overwhelmed and destroyed.
Make sure you always watch your back as well. If one is around, another six are sure to follow.

A Bloodletter is only a basic form of daemon, but one of the most common you will see.
Do not show fear to them, do not show mercy and never show remorse, for as has been said, you shall receive none.
