I can't believe I lost my voice during a big concert. I hated to disappoint the fans, but I had to tell Harry that I needed to step outside.
As I trudged toward the door, I felt myself bumping into a concert-goer. She yelped. I gasped in embarrassment.
“Oh my...” I started, voiceless. I cleared my throat. “Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!” I said. “Is there any way I could make it up to you?”
She finally made eye contact, and that's when I noticed how beautiful she was, even though it was only for a split second. Her brown hair went down to her waist. Her chocolate brown eyes sparkled in the stadium lights.
“Just leave me alone!” She choked back tears and dashed outside before I could hurt her more.
I held my head where she gave me a bump and headed outside after her. “Wait! I didn't catch your name!” But she was already halfway down the long gravel path on top of the huge, rolling hills that lead away from the stadium in which we were performing.
