1. Hi, I'm Cho
"Hi, I'm Cho. My full name is Choko, it's Japanese but I'm not. I can speak Japanese, English, German, Greek and French fluently thanks to mine and Dai's parents because they work in international languages. I used to live there up until I was 8. Just after I turned 8 we moved to Germany and 2 years later to England, now 5 years later I'm living here, Merribridge. It's very nice here, beautiful landscapes and a perfect mix of sun and rain." I say to Form 10-7.
I'm 15, turned it yesterday and in a couple of weeks my best friend - Dai - is too. We have been friends since birth. His Dad gave a job to my Dad job before I was born and now they work together and, just like us, are inseparable. Dai, like me, also has American parents and has lived next door to me for 15 years.
Looking round the class I see faces that either don't care or look shocked. 'Well,' I thought, 'I have had an interesting life I suppose.'
"Thank-you Cho. What an interesting life you have had."
"Mmm," I answer as I slip into my seat next to Dai.
"Hey Chokolate" Dai whispers in my ear, grinning.
"Danish Pasty" I reply, smirking.
"CHO AND DAI, NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES IN AND YOUR TALKING, BE QUIET!" Miss Tucks yells.
