Today Ashton is coming home and I am so happy. No one really knows what happened, but he made it through. Skylar actually decided to send Zoe and Lucas with my brother, Jack, because she said four kids are too hard to handle, but I know Jack will take care of them.
Suddenly the door opened, and Ashton walked in with Skylar. "Dad!" Ashton yelled. "Hey buddy!" I said picking him up and hugging him. "Ashy!" Liz yelled running downstairs. He laughed. "Where's Uncle Cal, Uncle Mikey, and Uncle Ash?" He asked. "They had to go to the studio, but we are all going out for dinner. And guess who else will be there." I said. "Who?" He asked. "Uncle Harry, Uncle Zayn, Uncle Lou, Uncle Liam, and, Uncle Niall." I said. He smiled. He ran up to his room, and I looked at Skylar who looked a little worried. "What's wrong?" I asked. "The doctor said, we got lucky. He wouldn't have made it through anything." She said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Ashton had an asthma attack." She said. "But he doesn't have-" "The doctor said that it's something that many kids have due to early birth, but they don't show signs or symptoms until they are older, meaning Ashton has asthma." She said. "It's not the end of the world. He is still healthy. All of our kids are." I said, she nodded and hugged me.
"Uncle Niall!" Ashton yells running to the door of the restaurant. Niall hugged him. "Ashton please come back to the table." Skylar said. "How does it feel to be back home buddy?" Liam asked. "Good. I can finally eat real food." He said, we all laughed.
"So what's the best thing about being home?" Calum asked Ashton. "I can finally play baseball again." He said smiling. "Ashton, honey, you can't play baseball. Not right now at least." Skylar said. "But why?" He asked. "Not right now. Wait a little okay? Maybe a few months." She said. He sighed, but nodded. "Alright, get to bed, I'll be up there in a minute." Skylar said, he nodded and ran upstairs. Skylar soon followed.
Once she was upstairs, the guys started asking questions. "So, why did he collapse?" Michael asked. "He had a severe asthma attack." I replied. "Asthma?" Calum asked. "It's common to kids when they are born early, like Ashton. He was born early, Skylar was seven months pregnant. But the symptoms don't show right away, they show once they start to grow up." I replied. "But, at least he's healthy." Ashton said, I nodded. "I'm just happy he's home." I said. They all nodded.
