Hey y'all here's the update

Luke's pov

It's all I can see. I try to call out but I can't. My voice is trapped inside of me. I'm breathing though. My eyes adjust to the darkness and I see a figure. A girls figure.

"Bella," I mouthed but no sound came out. She walked closer and sat me down, sitting beside me and suddenly the setting changed. We were now in our house.

Except when I looked at Bella she was a little girl. It was just after her birthday so she was two years older than me right now. Only for a month though. She had just turned five and I was three.

"Bella come play wif me." The baby version of me whined holding my hands out. She shook her head and pointed to a different side of the room. Another memory popped up.

It was a few years later and mum and dad were having a fight. "Bella! Bella, hold me. I'm scared." I said and sobbed violently. She grabbed me under my arms and lifted me. I wrapped my arms and legs around her like a koala.

"It's okay Lukey, there's nothing to be afraid of." She whispered and true to put me down but I held on. She faded away and I cried our for her.

Suddenly it was my tenth birthday party. There was no one there except for my family. "It's alright Lukey. Ya know Calum said he would've loved to come but he got sick." Bella told me reassuringly.

She rubbed my hair and kissed my forehead gently, before that Bella faded too. The setting was now my first day of high school. Bella walked to school with me.

"You'll be fine Lukey." She said and kissed my head. I saw a few boys laugh at me. "B-Bella I don't wanna go." I said to her with tears filling my eyes.

"It's okay Luke you're going to be fine. Nothing bad will happen." She told me. But she was wrong.

(later that day)

"Hey little nerd boy, why were you with Bella Hemmings? She's the hottest chick here, and for her to downgrade from Shane Owman to you, that's awful." He said and pushed me into the lockers.

"She's my sister. And you don't talk about her like that." I said in an angry voice. He smirked and him and his friends blocked me so there was no way out.

"And what are you gonna do about it, you little scrawny ass-"

I punched him. The last thing I saw was his fist coming down on my face repeatedly and waking up in the nurses office.

That memory faded and a new one came into view. "What are you gonna do Bella? Cry for Ben and Jack to come help?" I asked towering over my sister who was cowering down. I had a growth spurt and I was slightly tall now.

"Well they're not here are they?" I yelled and kicked her until she passed out. I swear I felt a tear roll down my cheek but that wasn't possible, this is my mind.

The setting was now in the house, I was listening to Bella cry through the door. She called herself awful names. "It's all my fault." I whispered. That was the first night that I self harmed.

Finally, that memory faded to the one of her and I talking. I couldn't hear anything though. "I forg-" I heard Bella's voice come and go. I watched as we hugged. And now the most recent memory.

I put my arm around her and hugged her. She cried into my neck. "Lukey, you're okay." She said happily.

"F-falling a-s-sle-eep." I mumbled with the small amount of energy left in me.

"Go ahead Lukey. Sleep. Just promise to wake up."

And then darkness again.

Am I dying?

I felt tingly. It was strange, unfamiliar feeling in my head. "Now, now Luke. Don't open your eyes." I heard a voice off in the distance somewhere.

"Wh-who...?" I tried to speak.

"Here I'll explain. I'm Nurse Kira and I'll be taking care of you. Feeding you, changing IVs and all that stuff. You just got out of surgery because of minor brain damage. You won't be able to walk or talk properly for a long time. Yes, it will be hard to recover but I believe if you really want to it'll be so much quicker. You just have to put a lot of energy into it and a lot of time. As you might not know, once the brain is damaged you can't repair it so you will have a problem with speech for the rest of your life. It shouldn't be too bad though." She said.

"Now there is only one visitor allowed at a time and you get to choose who. Is there anyone specific you'd like me to call or send in?" She asked.

"B-b-bel-Bella." I finally chocked out. She got up and told me she would return shortly.

"Oh and work on opening your eyes. be very slow and careful though you will have a headache because of the light." She said and closed the door.

I slowly opened one eye halfway. Slowly as steady wins the race Luke. I thought. I opened it the other half. That motivates me to open the other one.

I started opening my other eye. Finally, I got both eyes open. I Looked at my surroundings. The door opened and Bella appeared in the doorway. She was holding someone's hand but I couldn't tell who. "Stay here for a moment please..." She said quietly and stepped all the way in.

"Lukey." She said and sat on the bed hugging me. I tried to scoot over so she could lay down but struggled. Bella saw my dilemma and gently scooted me over.

"Th-thanks." I mumbled, barely audible. She kissed my forehead and wrapped an arm around my waist. I may be taller and broader than Bella, but right now I felt smalla than a bug.

"So I heard I'm your first visitor." She said and tickled the skin of my back softly. I nodded slowly.

"A-an-y n-ew......n-ne-news." I asked her. She thought for a moment.

"Well, I need to tell you something very important. You're probably not gonna like it but you deserve to know." I sighed as she talked. She rubbed my head gently as it was resting on her chest.

"Mikey and I are dating. He's not my boyfriend yet and he hasn't properly asked me on a date but I think it's going to happen soon." She said slowly. I looked up and saw her biting her lip nervously.

"B-bet-bett-er t-ak c-care y-you." I mumbled. I sound like such a ninny oh my god.

She laughed and pulled me closer. "B-bet-bett-er not p-la-ce m-m-me." I said seriously. She gasped and looked down at me.

"Awwh, Lukey don't you worry nobody could replace you. You're my beebee brudder..." She said and I cuddled closer to her. I smiled slightly and Bella kissed my cheek where my dimple was.

"You're so cute ya know that, Lukey? I don't know why anyone would ever be mean to you." Bella said seriously tracing the outline of my face with her finger. I blushed and slowly shook my head.

Bella frowned. "Lucas..." she said. "look at me, bubs." She said. Bella called me bubs since we were little she hasn't called me that in a long time. "You're amazing. You've got a beautiful voice and killer looks. Every girl wants you, except me, and every guy wants to be you. I hear people tell me how amazing you look and how great your voice is. It kills me to see you being yourself down like that. So stop it." I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Do you wanna see anyone else before visiting hours are up?" She asked me sweetly, rubbing her thumb in circles on my forehead. I nodded slowly.

"C-c-" Was all I could say.

"Calum?" She asked. I smiled widely showing that was who. I don't wanna nod because it makes my head hurt. She nodded and kissed my head one last time, bidding me goodbye before going to get Calum.

Shortly after, Calum walked in with his little puppy dog eyes and a small little smile. "Hey Lukey." He said and crawled beside me.

Calum hugged my waist tightly. I swear he's like the most cuddly person on this earth.

"How have you been since you woke up?" He asked me. I sighed and put my head on his.

"G-g-good...." I muttered. He nodded and I felt his smile in the crook of my neck. I smiled a bit because I knew he would be happy about me saying that, even though it wasn't completely true. I've been having headache since I woke up. And it's so freakin awful. My head is pounding, almost to the point to where I want to cry, but I can't do that with Calum here. He'll get worried and think something totally awful is going on.

"I'm glad you got through it, I was so worried about you." Calum said and his voice broke in the middle of the sentence. I looked up and saw a tear roll down his face.

I reached up and wiped his tear. It kills me to see him crying. Any of the boys. "D-d-don't..." I breathed out and laid my head on his chest. Calum hugged me close and sighed.

"Luke," he said. "Don't say anything it'll help your head." (a/n: if any of this medical stuff isn't true don't send me hate this is a fanfic calm ur tits)

"Shh, Luke. You don't have to talk. I've been your best friend for over four years now. I'm fine with just lying here with you." Calum said and pushed my hair back softly. I sighed and put my head in his neck scooting closer. He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly and pulled me, to help me get closer seeing as I was still having trouble with that.

"S-s-sle-eep." I mumbled and Calum nodded he kissed my hair as if I actually was his little brother.

"Love you Lukey. Sleep good. I'll see you tomorrow." He said and got up hugging me one more time before leaving the room.
