Girls can love girls too

She was ready to give up on life, thinking the world was too cruel for her to live, but then she came along. She sat down next to her on the edge of the bridge and gave her a new choice. She didn't take her freedom away, simply voiced her opinion and gave her another option. And she took it.

3. New crush, maybe?

I don't know why I said yes, or why I actually got up with her, sill hand-in-hand, or why I walked with her through New York to her apartment.

Right now, she was making tea for us, said it was something that relaxed her, and maybe it could help me too--I'd already told her about some of the stuff that was making me contemplate all of life.

So here I was, sitting at her two-person table and pulling my hair into a side braid. She set down a cup of tea in front of me and I smiled appreciatively.

"So what else has been stressing you out?" She asked, sipping at her tea.

I sighed, there was one topic I really didn't want to talk about, but it was the main reason of stress. "I have this boyfriend." I began, "he's the best anyone could ask for. There's a problem with this. I think I'm gay."

She nodded understandingly. "I hear you."

"He's homophobic. It's his religion really. I'm not bashing their religion or anything, it's just that the whole church he attends, they don't like the thought of two guys or two girls." I sipped the tea as well, finding it actually did relax me.

She gave me some advice for coming out, since she was bi-sexual as well. We swapped numbers and I walked home, in a slight drizzle, with a huge smile on my face in anticipation of meeting up with her again.
