The Killing Maze

To survive the maze you needed to have brains, you needed to be brawn and most important of all, you need to be able to run fast and I mean fast, if you didn't or couldn't do either of these well you had no chance. This is the story about how a group of 11 girls and 1 guy survive the Blazers and how they escape 'the killing maze'.

*Just to note this is a story with a mixture of The Maze Runner and The Hunger Games ideas. Please no hate, comment helpful ideas on how I can improve the story or to tell me that it's a good storyline. I hope you guys like it. Much love xox*

6. From The Beginning

Brooklyn's P.O.V

~ After breakfast ~

I stand outside waiting for Locklen, I wasn't hungry. I looked down and noticed that my stomach was a lot flatter than when I first arrived here. I knew it wasn't healthy doing this to myself but with all the stressing and worrying I'm just never hungry. Locklen comes out of the kitchen and walks over to me.

"So newbie what do you want to know?"

He thinks for a bit

"Everything. Where i am? the blazers? are we trapped here forever? Just everything"

"Well I'll start from the beginning, follow me we should go somewhere quieter"

We made our way to the forest area and I walked over to my tree. It was where I came to be alone. No one really knows about my tree, I built a little tree house in it, nothing much. It was made out of some wood I found, which made the flooring and the walls. Large leaves that I replaced every so often which created the roof. It was a nice get away. I climbed the tree and sat down, Locklen followed me.

"So where do I begin?"

I think so a bit then started

"At the start I couldn't remember much. I remember waking up on this soft patch of grass. The sun was burning down on me. I sat up and looked around all there was, was a starting of a shack. Then this girl approached me, she was the only girl in this large place. Her name was Cassidy she was a lovely girl, she was a little bit older than me, she had perfectly straight black hair which was tied in a messy ponytail. She explained everything that she knew about this place. The day after another girl arrived, Melanie. Then the day after Chicago, girls started arriving one by one. When we reached 12 girls it just stopped. It was really strange. We all split ourselves up into pairs. We were then all assigned to different jobs. Me and Chicago were the hunters, I was a really good hunter well I would like to think I was. Me and Chicago would run so fast. One day while out in the maze we came face to face with the Blazers"
