Both of the Jakes and Josie were sitting with me on the couch. They saw how depressed I was after seeing Harry leave. Right now, Eric would know the right words to sooth me, but I lost him too. I had no one that knew me well enough as the two that I got angry with.
Someone put their arm around me and I looked up to see Jake, the new one. I seriously need to get a identification name for those two.
"Look everything is going to be alright. Just--" "Just stop, ok? She's got a boyfriend."
He looked up and saw Josie. "I don't think you call that a boyfriend." "I call that one a protective boyfriend. You need to back off ok?"
He got offended by this. He stood up and said, "Look, I never did that to Spencer. Spence and I were happy with each other and he was the one that bullied her and he was the one that made her feel bad about her self, and guess who was there for her. Me and Eric. That's right, not him."
He stood there for a moment and then continued saying, "Anyways where is Eric?"
They looked at me and he turned toward me and said, "Where is her Spence?" I looked up at him and said, "I don't want to talk about it."
He sat next to me and said, "Look. I don't know if you changed completely, but I know you're not the bad person that would exempt your friends from your life that you grew up with. Not... not Eric. Especially not Eric."
I looked at him and he threw his hands up and said, "Where is he?"
I shrugged my shoulders. I was way too depressed to be dealing with Eric right now. I got up and went over to the stairs. I stopped and said, "Can everyone leave? I want to be alone for the rest of the day."
I looked at the new Jake most of the time when I said that and turned around. "You heard her. Go." "She means you too." "I'm not leaving until--" A punch was thrown.
I turned and ran back downstairs. The new Jake was on the ground and the old one was above him.
I was standing there motionless at the bottom of the stairs. I finally yelled out, "Get out now! I don't want this to happen in here. I have way too many things to worry about. Now, leave!"
Everyone scampered out. The new Jake was still on the floor. "I said leave Jake." He tilted his head up and blood started to drip down from his nose. He caught the blood with his t-shirt and I rushed him to the bathroom.
After I cleaned it up I had to clean his shirt before the stain was permanent.
"It's been a long time since I've seen you." I didn't look up from the shirt. I didn't need to be talking right now. I could hear a sigh escaping his lips and he said, "Look, I just want to catch up with you. Get to know you. I missed you so I came back."
"Did you foster parents say anything about this?" I looked up at him. He was stunned that I said 'foster'.
I turned the water off to let the shirt dry and said, "Look. I'm dealing with so many things right now." "Yeah, no kidding." He stared deep into me. He wasn't happy about me talking about his parents like that.
"Look. This is why we spilt up. You didn't keep you distance away from me." "Oh really? Cause the last thing I remember you kept on trying to get up at me and wanted me to get into your pants. So, you kept trying to get me into you house. Oh, and the best part is, I remember you crying after I broke up with you."
We stood there staring at each other. I didn't know what to do. It's been so long since I was in an argument with him.
"Spence." "No, this is done with. Take your messed up self out of here. Get out of my house." "My shirt." I pushed him but he grabbed my wrists and we crashed to the ground.
He turned on top of me and pinned me to the floor. "Spencer, this isn't how I wanted to talk to you."
I lifted my knee up in between his legs. That helped a whole lot. He rolled to the side and I got up and snatched my phone and ran to my room locking it. I called Josie. It took her some time to pick up, but when she finally picked up, I spilled everything.
A few minutes later she was at my door. I rushed down to get it, but Jake was already healed from the kneeing.
He wrapped his arms around me and twirled me. He pinned me to the wall and started to kiss me where my neck and shoulder met. I tried kicking again, but his legs wrapped with mine some how to where I couldn't kick him.
I let out a soft moan and he smiled and said, "I though you would still have that same soft spot."
He looked into my eyes and looked down at my lips. The only way to let him loose is to play his game. I crashed my lips into his and he responded right on. I started to move my hands down his back and slowly moved us to the couch. When I laid him down I let go and looked at him.
"I knew that you were still in there." I smirked at what he said and moved my hand down his stomach and then punched him right in the middle of his chest. He couldn't breath, but I knew that I only had thirty seconds.
I ran toward the door and opened it. Harry was standing there too. I could tell he just got there too.
Josie and the old Jake ran past me and took care of the new Jake. Harry was just standing there staring at me. I couldn't blame him for that.
He stared while Josie and Jake carried the new Jake out.
Harry went up to me and hugged me. He kissed me on my temple and set his head on top of mine making me feel short. He held his hand onto the back of my head and held me close to his chest.
"I'm sorry for getting mad at you. I-I didn't know he was like that." I had tears in my eyes and looked up at him and said, "I understand. I would've probably done the same thing." That made him chuckle. He kissed me and started to cry a little too.
He let go for air and moved the hair out of my face. He smiled and hugged me again.
The next day going to school was easier then the last.
I entered into the building and Harry met me with a big hug and a kiss. A dean walked by and said, "Warning children, no PDA."
Harry set me down and smiled at me. As soon as the dean was out of sight he kissed me again.
He walked me toward my locker to let me get my stuff. The new Jake walked by but he only stared at me. He checked me out while continuing to walk.
Harry glared at him and he turned his head around too sharp that it gave a cramp in his neck.
"I heard his middle name was River." "Yeah, I forgot about that." "Yeah. Let's call him River instead of Jake. He doesn't earn that name." "Totally."
Harry smiled and looked over my shoulder. I turned to see Josie and Jake walking up to us.
"So, did you hear about the other Jake being called by his middle name River by his mom when he picked him up yesterday? That was so priceless. Where were you two?"
Harry wrapped his arm around me and said, "Just me saying sorry to her."
"Said sorry to her or showed that you were sorry?" That made me bite my lip. Jake chuckled and said, "Looks like a showed from Spence."
They both started to laugh while me and Harry were both turning red. "Stop it."
"You two are just to adorable." I smiled at Josie. "Thanks." "No biggy. Oh I heard about the broadway production that's coming here. I think you might want to check it out Spence. You're really good at broadway. I still remember '13' like it was yesterday."
"You did broadway?" I looked up at Harry and he was surprised. "Yeah, but it was back in middle school."
"She's still good." "I know."
They both looked at Harry and stared. "I mean we did.. well she... how long t'ill the bell rings?"
Josie said, "It rings when the small hand passes one o'clock like the janitor's closet that one o'clock from us." Harry started to blush and his hands were getting sweaty.
The bell rang and Josie and Jack left. Harry walked me to class and kissed me on the forehead.
I walked in and saw Kate in the front of the classroom. What was she doing here?
A/N - sorry about the cliffhanger... I just had to I wanted to think of something good... I have something in mind, but I think that's it's just going to have to have a little tinkling with it...
