I woke up the next day knowing that there would be tuns of drama at the school.
I was right when I entered the building. People that I was walking by were just starring at me and started whispering. I mean couldn't they make it any more obvious?
I went to my locker and got out the books that I needed and checked my cellphone. Niall texted me saying, "Meet me in the library."
Yes, I did get his number, but that was when he was at my house and we needed to contact each other in some form.
I went to the library and found him sitting at a table with Darcy treating his eye, which had better days. I went up to them and they both looked at me with concern and said, "This plan wasn't a good idea, but we started it so we have to finish it."
Darcy started the conversation off, but I didn't know what to say. I said I was sorry over the phone like a billion times, but still felt guilty.
"Guys I think we need to tell the other people in your gang, and maybe have them help us out. This is getting bigger than I thought it would. I mean look. It's all over Facebook and all over the school."
Darcy and Niall sighed deeply and said, "How are we going to do that without Harry being there." They both said it in unison. They looked at each other and blushed and looked at their hands.
"I think we need to make a group chat without Harry and figure it out from there."
They both nodded their heads. This plan has gotten way too serious. I mean this needs to be taken down an notch.
I went to my first class and Eric was already their waiting for me. I smiled and he smiled back. I sat down next to him and we started off a conversation. I was happy that he was happy, but we weren't really boyfriend and girlfriend right now. I guess we were just friends with benefits.
I came home and I was the happiest person on earth. I was away from the drama zone. I hated drama. Can you tell?
I went up to my room and Harry was already in there. WTF.
I closed my door and looked at him saying, "What are you doing in here, and how did you even get into my---" "Don't talk."
I looked at him like excuse me what did you just say to me? I was not in the mood for this. I opened my door and was about to yell, but he cupped his hand on my mouth and shut the door. He threw me onto my bed and just stood there.
"What do you want? I didn't do anything to you." He crossed his arms and said, "Then how come I was suspended today?" I just looked at him and shrugged my shoulders. I needed to keep this a secret. I can't tell him that I'm a part of this.
My phone vibrated a multiple amount of times. I looked at it and it was the group chat that me, Niall, and Darcy were talking about at the library.
"Who is that?" I looked at him and said, "Oh, just my real friends. Why?" He rolled his eyes and started to grab for the phone. I didn't let him get to it, but I couldn't hold on to it for long.
I threw it across the room far away from both of us. I just tackled him and didn't let him get to it.
"If it's just some friends why aren't you letting me get to it?" He had a point I just let go of him and luckily he just sat on my bed.
"I like my conversations private." "Why?" I glared at him to change the subject, but he didn't move a muscle. "Past experiences that I want to forget."
He smirked and said, "You had a bad experience in the social media? I don't believe you one second."
I glared at him seriously wanting to change the subject. I didn't like where this was going.
"Harry, can we please stop talking about this?" He just looked at me and leaned against my bed frame. That was a dark secret that none of my friends knew about, and I didn't want to let out to the world right at this moment. It was between me and Darcy and that was it.
"Look, I really don't want to talk about this. Can you please leave now? You got your answer I don't have anything to deal with your drama magnetic life."
He smirked and said, "You're really funny." I glared at him and said, "What more do you want from me?" "I want to make a deal with you."
That made me turn my head. "What do you have against me that will make me want to make a deal with you?" I smirked being very curious now on what he had against me.
"I know about your little dark secret. Darcy told me when she was drunk one time at a frat party that we snuck into." I looked at him and said, "I don't believe you."
He took a picture out of his pocket and handed it to me. It was the picture that was taken that night by Darcy and me. It was the picture of the dead body. We weren't any part of that, but we were witnesses. You see me and Darcy use to be best friends and we were hanging out one night when we ran into some drunk teenagers in her neighborhood. I told her that we should leave, but she didn't listen.
She grabbed my hand and led me to them and hid behind a bush. We watched them as one of them got a knife out. That was the time that we saw a murder. A neighbor saw us behind the bush and got us.
She called the cops and told them about the incident. The cops took us to the station and questioned us. Our parents weren't in town so they were about to call them, but the neighbor said that she was our guardian at the moment and took the blame for letting us out at a terrible moment at night that could have gotten us killed.
She didn't go to jail because she was the one that called the cops and without her the murderer could have gotten away with it.
"Spencer." I looked up. I realized that I was zoned out for a really long time. "Sorry, it was just really---" "I know. You're so little and now you're scared for life with that incident. You know that neighbor that saved you?"
I nodded my head. I wanted to cry now, but I didn't want to show my weakness in front of Harry.
"That neighbor was my mother." I looked up at him. Now I couldn't hold the tears in any longer. They started to roll out of my eyes and I broke out. I rolled up into a ball and Harry put his arms around me and set me on his lap like I was a child.
He leaned against the bed frame and we just stayed like that until I stopped crying.
"Now. The deal." "Now. Is not a good time to make a deal Harry." He breathed in and out really heavily.
"I still have feelings for Darcy, but it seems like she doesn't have feelings for me." I looked up at him. I didn't like where this was going, but I wanted to help Niall get Darcy because they were meant to be together and not Harry and Darcy. I didn't want him to steal it away from Niall again. That would just make me a horrible person.
This makeover has gotten me into a position that I had nightmares about. I hated it.
"Can you act like you're my girlfriend. I mean you know have the standards and everything." I looked at him. I couldn't tell him about me and Eric that would just bring more drama.
"Look. I don't want to be any part of this I'm really sorry, but---" "It's fine." He set me onto the bed and started to leave the room.
"Harry." He turned around with hurt eyes. "Do you really want her back that bad?" He nodded. "I know that you stole her away from Niall. So, please tell me the truth." I looked down at my hands not wanting to look him in the eyes. I didn't want to see what they looked like right now.
"I didn't want her in the first place. To tell you the truth. I used her for popularity. When I gained that position I started to gain real feelings for her, but now it seems like her old feelings for Niall has gotten back to her, but now my feelings are just mixed."
I didn't know what was true, but that sounded like a legit story.
"Why are you saying that your feelings are mixed?" He looked me up and down slowly and just turned and left my room.
