I came home and I was a sweaty mess. My sister was on her phone and she was obviously talking to Darcy. I plugged in my earplugs to box them out of my hearing and went up stairs. I looked over to my mirror and looked at myself. I looked like I just came from playing in the mud.
Then I looked down. All my things were reorganized. I know that is not how I left my things. I turned to see if there was anyone in the halls trying to sneak out, but it was empty. That was a stupid move. I looked around and while I was looking out the window someone wrapped their arms around me and swung me in the air and onto the bed.
I screamed and that's when the person rolled on top of me. I looked to see who it was and I was face to face with Eric. To tell you the truth, if it was Harry, I would be laughing right now, but out of all people it's Eric.
"What do you want, and don't scare me like that." "Sorry, you usually like it when I do that." "Well, surprise. I don't like it." "What if Harry did it to you?" He was still on top of me and he was really close and he was looking deep into my eyes.
I tried to get up but he pushed me down. He held one hand on my hip and came closer to me. He cupped my cheek with the other hand to hold my head still. I tried to move, but he was way to strong.
I made to stupidest mistake by moving my head the opposite way of where his hand was and he put his hand under my head. He started to kiss me on my neck, and to tell you the truth he hit me right on my sweet spot. I tried hard to not let out a moan, but it slipped.
I felt his smile and he lifted his head to look at me and said, "Don't worry, I didn't leave a bruise." He smirked and I wanted to spit it off his face.
"Get off me." "Why should I?" "One, I have a boyfriend, and you're my best friend. You should be happy for me."
That got him angry. He got off and looked out into the window. I scoffed and breathed out a thank you. He heard it and looked hurt. "Eric, why would you do this? Seriously. You're my best friend."
"You know what Spencer? I'm tired of standing by the sidelines and watching you be with this guy that is obviously just dating you for popularity. Ok? I could be that better guy. Why can't you see that? I know your biggest mistakes. Heck, I was even there to comfort you when your mind was blown that you even did that. I was there for you Spence. Not Harry. Me. Get that ticking in your head and maybe everything will become clear."
I was standing there like a literal oaf. I didn't know what to do. "Eric."
"Don't Eric me. I'm tired of giving you chances over and over again and screaming at you to see a realize that he's bad for you. He even said it himself that he's a bod boy. You don't deserve a bad boy. All that a bad boy has is probably good lips. A good boy, like me, has a good heart and mind that will definitely treat you better then that dirt bag ever will, but I guess you're one of those good girls that want bad guys and then end up on the curb, recked, and yearning to go back and try to fix all this. Well, I'm sorry, but I know I can't change you now because I realized that your stupid heart fell for the damn heartbreaker. I thought you were smarter then that."
He nodded his head in disappointment and put his hand through his hair. I looked up at me and said, "This is a good bye Spence. I don't think I can handle being your friend when I want to be more then that anymore. I just can't."
He started to walk out of my room and I started to go after him. I didn't know what I was think, but when I went out there I grabbed his arm but he pulled it away. I tripped on carpet and fell to the floor. I picked myself back up but he was out of sight.
I went back to my room and sat down on my bed. I was still sweaty. That's when I realized that he kissed me even when I was stinky and sweaty. I felt bad for him, but at the same time that made me smile.
I looked out the window and saw that Josie pulled up. I wasn't in the mood for any more visitors. I rushed into the shower to give myself sometime.
When I came out Josie was happy as ever. Jake came in following her. I had on a white cotton shoulder top with some black yoga pants. I went over to my shoe closet and got my brown house Ugg boots. I rolled them once and put my hair up in a messy bun.
I then turned my attention to Josie. "So, what's up?" "We have big news."
Jake scratched the back of his head saying, "Well, depends. Was that Eric pulling out of here?" "Yeah, why?" Josie started to squeal in the chair that she was sitting in. That made me chuckle a little.
"What's the big news?" "Told you it wouldn't turn out right." Josie's face turned the complete opposite emotion that it was in a few seconds ago.
"Wait, you said no?" "To what? I seriously am in Hong Kong right now because I don't know what you're talking about." "Oh, goodness. She said no."
I literally was about to slap one of them right now. I swear if one of them doesn't tell me what's going on, I'm going to blow.
Someone came to the door rushed and I looked up. It was Harry. I looked back at Josie and Jake and they were both uncomfortably sitting in their seats when he walked in.
Then Harry blurted something out that I did not see coming, "Don't believe a word they say, and please you didn't so yes to Eric." That was it.
"I don't know what you guys are talking about! What question was Eric suppose to ask me because he only said statements that ruined our friendship because he didn't agree with me and Harry being together because..." I stopped myself right there. I knew what they were talking about now.
Eric was suppose to ask me to be his girlfriend and break up with Harry, but what did Harry mean by don't believe a single word they say?
"Harry?" "Yeah, babe. I promise what they said is not true."
I looked over at Josie and she said, "I didn't say anything about it Harry. What you said proves that you did it." "She forced herself on me!"
I looked at him when he said that. "Wait you didn't tell her yet?" Both Josie and Jake shook their heads.
He turned toward me and said, "I didn't do it Darcy forced into me." "Into?" "Yeah, you know when--" "I know what you're talking about. You don't have to explain." I put my hand up to hold everyone silent.
"Why do you guys not believe him?" "He's Harry. Why should we?" I looked at him and he had pleading eyes telling me that he was telling the truth. I kept my stare on him and said, "Jake. Josie. Please leave now."
Harry put his hand through his hair and sat down at the nearest chair.
Jake and Josie left the room. I waited 'till they left the driveway. I closed and locked the door. My sister was out doing something for Darcy so the house was completely empty except for me and Harry. I turned toward him and crossed my arms.
"So, did you or did you not do it?" "I didn't do it." Why did I ask him that question. The guilty is never going to say that he did the crime, but he isn't a criminal. You can trust him, but he's Harry.
I looked up at him and he was now getting up and walking toward me. He set one hand on my hip and another one lifted my head to look at him. I was staring at his lips, but I looked away. You can't be fooled by him. He's a bad boy and bad boys do bad things to good girls like me.
Maybe Eric was right. I was going to end up on a curve, recked, yearning to start over, but I didn't want to stop this relationship with Harry. I was already a mess it will only take a little bomb to get me recked.
I looked back up at Harry and said, "Please tell me the truth." My arms were still crossed yearning for the answer, but also preparing my self for the truth. "In the beginning..." I turned away when he said that. It's over. He cheated on me.
