(A/N- I TRICKED YOU! I'M DOING IT TODAY! OH AND CARTER'S POV STARTS AT THE BEGINNING SO DON'T BE CONFUSED!)
I groaned and turned my alarm off. I really hate mornings. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom.
I had my red Vans on, along with a purple beanie. I put on my faded skinny jeans and a orange AMERICAN EAGLE sweatshirt. I almost looked like a zombie walking downstairs. It actually looked very funny.
"Good morning sweetie!" My mum was a lovable 'penguin', as Alex would say. Alex LOVES, and I mean LOVES penguins.
"Morning mum!" I noticed she was looking at me weird. Like I forgot something.
"CeCe, you didn't forget what day it is did you?" I looked at her confused. It's Monday why would I want to know? Then it hit me so hard, I couldn't see it coming. It's my birthday today! I'M TURNING 16 TODAY! I would have completely forgotten about it if my mum didn't remind me.
"OMG I ALMOST FORGOT, MUM! THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME!" Mum always has got my back.
"I knew you would. But I have a surprise for you and Alex."
"It's not Alex's birthday though." Mum smiled. What was her surprise?
"With the help of Alex's father, we got you both front row tickets to the One Direction concert!"
"Front row tickets?"
"Yes, and backstage passes."
"Front row seats AND backstage passes?! OMG YOU'RE THE BEST MUM!"
"You're welcome sweetie." Wait. Did she say Alex's FATHER helped? I don't get it. Alex and her father aren't close. He beats her when she's drunk and he doesn't know what he did when he's sober.
"Mum can you drive me to Alex's house?"
"Of course, CeCe."
-Skip car ride-
I ran inside of her house, screaming while almost tripping in the process.
"Carter, calm your butt down! What's your deal?"
"My mum and your dad got us tickets for the One Direction concert! 5SOS is opening for them!" She looked at the tickets, ran over, and took them out of my hands.
"BACKSTAGE PASSES AND FRONT ROW SEATS?! THANK YOU DAD!" She ran over to Richard, hugged him and he hugged back. All of a sudden she grabbed me because we had five minutes to school, and we said our goodbyes.
-Skip car ride and school-
We went to the mall.
"What stores do you want to go to Alex?"
"Forever 21, American Eagle, Rue 21, and Vans."
Alex got a lot of things, whereas I only got a pair of yellow vans, a orange sweatshirt, ripped skinny jeans, and a BITCH PLEASE beanie. Alex dropped me off at my house, I said goodnight to my mum, and went upstairs to bed since it was nine o'clock and I was tired.
