Tonight was the big night. Yash was going to bring me on our first date. I was so nervous. He wouldn't tell me where we were going He told me to dress casual so I wore a white long sleeve shirt with a snowflake on it. I put on heavy black leggings with my gray Bailey bow Uggs. I grabbed my black north face and walked outside to enjoy the weather before he got here. Sudden a car pulled up in front of my house. I got a text so I looked down at my phone. It was from Yash.
Go back inside. I need to knock on the door he said.
I laughed and walked inside. A minute later the doorbell rang and I opened the door. Yash was standing there holding roses. He was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans.
"Hey boyfriend." I said liking the way it sounded.
"Hey girlfriend." He said back smiling.
"What are you smiling about?" I asked giggling.
"Just how cute you are." He told me smiling even more when I blushed. "Shall we go?" He asked.
"We shall." I said taking his hand and walking over to his car. He opened the door for me and I curtsied. "Thank you sir." I said in the best British accent I could do. He tried not to laugh.
"Your welcome ma lady." He said laughing.
I sat down laughing really hard. Yash came and started the car. "So where are we going?" I asked curious.
"You'll see." He said mysteriously.
"I hate surprises!" I complained.
"I know." He said looked over at me. He smiled.
"I hate you." I said pretending to be mad.
"You know you love me." He said joking.
"Well there's where you're wrong." I told him. "I don't love you. I loath you."
He just laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked
"Nothing. He said still smiling. We sat in silence for the rest of the car ride which was about 3 minutes. Finally he stopped the car. We were right in front of a lake. The moon was shining right over it making the water sparkle. There was a picnic blanket set up right next to it with a picnic basket and a bunch of blankets
I sat in the car for a second admiring the beautiful scene in front of me. "This is beautiful." I breathed.
"Just like you." He smirked. I blushed. He kissed me and we got out of the car. We walked hand in hand over to the blanket. We sat down and I look around us. There were trees scattered all around. I looked back over to Yash who was searching through the basket. Soon he pulled out a couple of PB&J sandwiches.
I looked at them and laughed. "What's so funny?" He asked handing me one.
"Nothing." I told him. I moved closer to him and opened the sandwich. We ate in silence for a couple of minutes. When I finished my leaned onto him and looked up at the sky. I felt him reach behind me and into the basket and pulled out a laptop. He opened it. "Whatcha doin?" I asked.
"We are watching a movie." He said looking at me.
"What movie." I asked looking up into his brown eyes.
"You'll see." He said. I groaned.
"Again with the surprises!" I whined.
He laughed. Soon he put the computer down and the movie started. It was Divergent.
Halfway through the movie I stated to get cold. I guess he noticed because the next thing I knew there was a blanket and a pair of arms wrapped around me. I looked up at him and smiled. I had such a perfect boyfriend. He looked down at me and smiled. He then leaned down and kissed me. It was perfect.
After the movie we lay down at just looked up at the stars. Every once in a while, I would point out a constellation and we would make up stories on how it got there. It was starting to get really cold so I snuggled closer to Yash.
When it started getting colder, Isabella snuggled closer to me. I wrapped my arm tighter around her. We were having such a good time. She was the only one that could make me this happy. I really want to tell her that I love her, but I'm afraid she wont feel the same way. I looked over at her to find her looking at me smiling.
"Yash," She started looking in my eyes, as if searching for something.
She stopped for a second. "I know we just started dating but," She paused. "I've liked you since kindergarten and," She paused again. I looked at her waiting to hear what she had to say. "I think I love you." She said. She searched my eyes looking to see what I would say.
I looked at her and smiled from ear to ear. "I think I love you too." I whispered in her ear. She looked up at me and smiled even bigger than I did if that's even possible. I leaned down a kissed her.
We stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like forever. Suddenly I felt something cold on land on my face. I looked up at the sky to find that it had started snowing. Isabella had rolled onto her back to look up at the falling snow.
For the next 3 minutes we watched the snow fall down on top of us. I looked over at Isabella. "I should probably bring you home now." I told her.
She groaned and looked over at me. She slowly sat up, shivering as the cold air hit her. She helped me pack everything into my basket and carry it to the car. By the time we finished packing everything up, her dark brown hair was covered in snow. She looked amazing. I leaned over and kissed her again and gave her a big hug. She looked at me and giggled.
"What?" I asked admiring her laugh.
"Nothing." She said laughing a bit walking around and getting in the car.
I laughed and got into the car too. Soon we were in front of her house. We both got out of the car and walked to the door hand in hand. I kissed her goodbye and walked back to my car. I sat down and smiled. That was officially the best date I've ever had.
