My encounter with Ashton at lunch made me feel scared and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. What was I to watch out for? Him?
"What time are you coming over tonight?" Michael asked walking beside me as we exited the school.
"Uh, I don't know. I'll just show up I guess?"
Michael nodded, passed me a piece of paper and walked the opposite direction. I sighed and opened to see that it was his address. I then walked over to the usual parking space to see the car sitting there. When I finally reached the car I hopped in the passenger seat and chucked my bag between my feet. Jonathan cleared his throat and I looked over to the drivers seat to see Ashton sitting there instead.
"What do you think you're doing? Get out. My brother's going to be here any minute."
He smirked and just stayed in his spot.
"What have I done for you to not like me?" I asked, concerned.
"You bloody well know Georgia." He spat opening the door and getting out.
I sat there staring at the now empty seat. In a matter of seconds Jonathan opened the door and slammed it shut.
"What did he tell you?" Jonathan asked.
I shook my head, looking down at my lap. "He didn't tell me anything."
I flinched at his harshness. "He didn't tell me anything." I repeated.
Jonathan muttered something under his breath and started the car before driving off.
"Is there something I need to know?" I asked quietly.
"What do you mean?" Jonathan asked, being a bit caught off guard.
"Is there something you need to tell me? Or is there something you're keeping from me?"
"Why would I keep something from you?"
I shrugged. "It was just a question."
The rest of the car ride was silence, we weren't jamming out to Blink-182, we weren't looking at each other and we sure as hell weren't talking. It was completely silent.
When we reached the house I got out of the car and headed to my room to pack right away. I could tell when Jonathan was lying to me, and he's keeping something from me. But there's no point in being mad about it right? He's not going to tell you.
"Are you staying for dinner?" Jonathan asked.
I turned around and thought for a bit. "I'm fine. Thanks though." I said giving him a fake smile before turning around and rushing around my room and putting things in a bag.
After about half an hour I finished and fell back on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I shut my eyes for a split second before I heard some footsteps and I sat up immediately to see Ashton standing there. My heart rate sped up as we stared at each other.
I blinked, and opened my eyes to see that he was gone. I looked around my room frantically in search of him, but I couldn't find him. I then sat back on my bed and put my hand on my head, I was not imagining was I?
"Call if you feel uncomfortable alright." Jonathan said as I got out of the car.
I nodded and rolled my eyes as I stared at the house before me. It wasn't big, but not small. When Jonathan left I took in a deep breath before walking to the front door and knocking.
"It's open." Michael yelled.
I turned the handle and opened the door to be greeted with a gust of cold air, making me shiver. As I walked into the foyer, I closed the door behind me and shivered the the cold atmosphere.
"What is she doing here?" Ashton spat making my eyes shoot over to the group of 4 boys sitting around the lounge like typical teenage boys that they were.
"I could ask you the same thing." I shot back.
"You didn't tell him?" Michael snapped, looking over at Luke.
"I'm sorry. He would have punched me or something then probably attack Georgia." He shrugged.
I got a lump in my throat.
"A-attack me?" I stuttered.
Ashton smirked while the others tried to come up with something to say.
"Ashton is just in a bad mood. Probably will be for a while, just ignore him this whole week." Luke said, putting on a fake smile.
These boys don't feel normal. The atmosphere is freezing and they are sitting there watching football. I don't know, maybe all boys are like this?
"So. Uh where am I sleeping?" I asked.
Michael smirked and walked over to me. "You can sleep with Ashton." Michael started making me and Ashton both tense up. "Or you can have the spare room." Michael said laughing.
I hit his arm. "The spare room please."
"Follow me." He smiled.
I obeyed his orders and followed him up the stairs. "Are they all staying tonight?" I asked.
"They live here Georgia."
"All 4 of you live here?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
Michael nodded, opening the door that revealed a completely white bedroom. Everything was white, the walls, the bed, the desk everything was.
"Luke and Calum are sharing a room so you are sleeping in Luke's room."
I nodded slowly before turning around to see Luke instead of Michael.
"Where di-." I started before Luke walked over to me and covered my mouth with my hand.
"You've made a mistake by becoming friends with us." He said instantly.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You are going to regret staying here."
His face was emotionless, I looked into his eyes noticing them getting blacker by the second.
"Just be careful." He said before walking out.
I nodded to myself and walked down the stairs to see the other boys, trying not to let anything stop me from being my happy self.
"So, have you guys eaten yet?" I asked with a smile.
Ashton continued to ignore me as the 3 other boys shook their heads and smiled.
"I'll order pizza? It's on me." I smiled before walking to the kitchen and searching the phone before taking a breath of relief and dialling the pizza number.
