4. chapter 3
I finished getting ready, I looked over at the digital clock on the wall. It was 8 in the morning, does the mall even open at this time? Whatever I'll just do whatever they want. I opened the door and headed downstairs, I walked into the kitchen and saw Calum with only his boxers on. Ugh kill me! I coughed lightly, he turned his head and a blush crept onto his cheeks. "Sorry" he mumbled, I shrugged and Luke walked in. His face lit up when he saw me ready. Is he actually that excited? No he can't be, they all are probably pretending to like me.
Luke walked over to me and took my wrist dragging me behind him as he kept walking. "The mall is a few minutes away so we can walk if you want," he said looking at me. I nodded in reply not showing any emotion.
We walked out, him still holding onto me. Maybe when he let's go I could quickly escape. I thought planning it all out in my head. We walked for another minute and he finally let go. Here's my chance I told myself, I quickly turned in some random direction and started sprinting. I wasn't the fastest runner but I certainly wasn't the slowest either. I heard my name being shouted behind me, as I heard footsteps close behind me. FUCK!! I didn't think about how fast he was. Wow I should defiantly be awarded for the biggest idiot in the world. Suddenly I felt a pair of arms grab me, and lift my body up. I started screaming and kicking, as fresh tears poured down my face. My body gave up on me and I fell to the ground . "Please don't do that ever again," I heard Luke's voice whisper in my ear. He picked me up and started to rub my back while softly whispering comforting things in my ear.
I gave up with running away, there was no point anyway I wouldn't get anywhere without being caught. I put my hands on either side of Luke's shoulders, and snuggled my face into the crook of his neck. I didn't even realise how cold I was. Luke stopped rubbing my back and wrapped them around my shivering body. "Let's go home" he said as he lightly kissed my forehead and started walking back toward the house.
We probably looked really weird. Imagine a 10 year old girl holding onto a 18 year old boy/skyscraper like a koala. Whatever hardly anyone is outside. But who would its a cold morning the worst combination.
I kept thinking about random things as Luke walked, and I eventually fell asleep... AGAIN!
