"Are you fucking kidding me." I mumble.
Luke sings, "You're telling me the same old story, that I need to change. If you're not living my life for me, you make me feel that way. You know you know, we're losing control. I gotta break away, and nothing's gonna change. You got to go, it's the end of the road. No matter what you do are say. Baby, you're not what I need."
Calum, Michael, and Ashton join in and sing with Luke.
"I'm over this, I'm over you. I'm not going to waste my life away. This is my Independence Day. I'm moving on, there's no excuse. And I can't take away your pain. This is my Independence Day."
Aleisha just stood there dumbstruck. Luke put down the guitar walked over to her.
"I'm sorry Aleisha, but I don't think we should be together if you're going to act all bitchy to my friends." he says.
"What? Are you, breaking up with me?" she says, clenching her teeth together.
Aleisha stomps away from us and gets her things. Calum, Michael, and Ashton cheer when she drives away. Luke slowly walks up to me and says, "I'm sorry Charlie, I'm sorry that I told you to Fuck off. I'm sorry that I shouted at you. I'm sorry for everything."
He surprises me by pulling me in for a hug. My eyes widen.
"Forgive me?" he whispers.
I want to forgive him, but I need time.
"Luke, thank you for the apology, but I need more time to think about this whole thing."
He let's go of me quickly and looks at the ground.
"Yeah, you're right."
"Don't take it the wrong way though."
"Yeah, I know."
Calum and Michael hug me at the same time and Michael whispers, "Mission completed."
I laugh. Luke and Ashton stare at us confused and I laugh even more.
"Let's go home."
