- Emma's side -
I hung out with Heather until she got discharged. I visited her everyday. Probably slept over at the hospital for a day or two.
I also found out that Chris had tried to have sex with Heather, but Heather refused. Chris got mad and was drunk and started forcing it and kept hitting her. Which is why she attempted to commit suicide.
When Heather got discharged, she went back to school. On the day we both went back to school, we went into our chemistry class and saw Chris and Trevor hanging out.
I waved to Trevor and he waved back with the warmest smile that brought my day up.
Me and Heather sat down at another seat---somewhere far away from Chris.
"Are you and Trevor serious?" she asked giggling.
"We're just friends," I said smiling.
"Nope. You guys aren't," she said suspicious.
At school, many people stared at Heather because basically---the whole school knew that she was on the rooftop trying to commit suicide. Many people stared at me and Trevor whenever we talked because they thought we were dating.
"Just don't turn out like me," Heather said with a crooked smile. "Don't commit suicide just because of something foolish. If he tries to hurt you, I will hurt him," she said giggling.
Chris and Trevor then stood up and came towards us.
"Shit," Heather said looking at the opposite direction.
Chris spoke first. "Heather, I... I'm sorry."
"Bullshit," I heard Heather whisper.
Me and Trevor exchanged glances.
Chris sat in the seat next to Heather.
"Heather. I'm sorry. I know I like to fuck up with girls, okay? I was drunk as hell that day," Chris said breaking into tears. I've heard people say that the four guys have never cried for anyone before. Heather also burst into tears.
This was the cue that me and Trevor had to leave both of them alone.
So Trevor grabbed my hand and we both left the room.
We went to the hallway and Trevor let go of my hand.
"Glad that's over with," said Trevor smiling. His smile was the brightest smile I've ever seen.
Trevor grabbed my hand. When he grabbed my hand, my whole body felt a tingle.
"Let's keep practicing our piano songs at my place. Because of the whole Heather thing, we've been missing out," he said.
"I'll come at your place at five?" I said slowly letting go of his hand.
"Sounds good," he said smiling.
