We walked our way down the mountain through the trail to where our cars were parked. "Do you mind leaving your car here? I will drive you back here after." I shrugged me shoulders, "I mean I guess," I answered awkwardly, uneasy about leaving my only way of transpiration somewhere to go with someone I barely knew. Normally I would say no, but for some reason I felt okay with it, and I was up for a little risk once in my life.
He showed me to his black Rang Rover and pulled out his car keys and unlocked his car. He got into the drivers seat and I in the passengers. Inside the car it wasn't exactly what you'd expect from a boy, it was completely spotless. I was a little shocked by this to be honest. The floor looked like they were freshly cleaned and the seats, looked as if they've never been sat in. The car even still had the 'new car smell' in it. "How long have you had this car?" I asked him. "Uh I got when I first started visiting the U.S, so probably two maybe three years ago? Not positive though," He said putting his seat belt on and putting the key in the ignition.
We sat in silence, I looked out the window and watched as we passed some familiar stores until I hadn't recognized anything at all. It was getting stuffy in the car so I tried to rolled down the window but was stopped. "Please don't!" Harry shouted before rolling it back up from his side of the car. "I'm sorry," I whispered just loud enough for him to hear. "No, no it's okay, I didn't mean to shout. I just meant uhm, that I'll turn on the air if you'd like." He said before blasting the air conditioning. "Thank you," I murmured to him.
A few moments of silence went by again until he spoke up. "Would you like to listen to the radio?" He asked politely. "Yeah sure," I answered, "Right," he said before turning the it on. On came a song that I had heard before, but didn't know the name of. "I like this song," I told him smiling, "Do you know who this is?" I asked. "Yeah, it's a guy named Ed Sheeran, heard of him?" He asked and I shook my head. "He's a great lad, funny one too." He said messing with his lip which I could help but to find attractive.
"You've met him?" I asked, "Uh yeah," He said a bit uneasy. "How did you?" I asked curious how he got to meet a' celebrity' here-say. "Work," He answered no tapping his fingers on the wheel. "Oh," I replied dropping the conversation. "You live by your self?" I asked him and he nodded. I looked out the window to see we were getting to the more expensive area of the California mountains. "How do you afford somewhere in here?" I asked in awe. He chuckled at me. "Business is good." He said looking over to me. I felt his eyes watch me as I look at the passing mansions, "Justin Bieber lives in that one." He said pointing to a huge house. "Who?" I asked. and he laughed again. "You're kidding right?" He asked and I shook my head. "I can't believe you know nothing about pop culture, or the music industry." He smiled, "It's refreshing." He smirked.
We soon pulled up to a large mansion, pulling into the drive way and through the gate I was shocked at the size of the place. "You live here?" I asked and he nodded. "I have no idea why I'm doing this but come on." He said motioning out of the car. We walked up to the large french doors, and from the glass windows I could see the house was huge inside. He unlocked the door pushing it open to expose the inside of the house. It had tall ceilings and white marble floors. There was art work hanging all over the house, it was so breath taking and exactly how I would want to live. "You like it?" He asked, I nodded. "How?" I asked simply. He motioned me to follow him, leading me into what seemed like the living room. It was very open, and had an amazing view of the mountains, I even noticed there wasn't a T.V.
I sat down on the large couch and he sat across from me, "When I tell you, please don't look at me different, I'm still the same guy." He said with pleading eyes. "I will look at you different, I will have found something new about you, adding to the endless spectrum about you." I told him, answering honestly, he look at me shocked. "I never thought about it like that." He said, I giggled at him, "But go on," I told him. "Right-" He took a deep breath.
"You see uhm, I'm in a boy band. It's me and four of my new best mates, we've toured and put out albums and yeah, we're sorta a big thing." He told me, looking for my reaction. I laughed at him, "Big? Obviously not that big, I mean I've never heard of you guys," He looked at me confused and stood up and pulled out a book from the bookshelf. He started to flip through the pages looking for something, finally stopping on a page and he handed me the book opened to the page. " At the top there," He directed me to a portion of the book that read:
First act to debut at No. 1 with their first three albums
I looked at the band One direction's picture and noticed Harry standing there. "We were also the first British band to debut at Number 1 in America with a debut album." He informed me, I looked up at him shocked. "How many years have you been together?" I asked, "About four, almost five years." He told me. "I can't believe I've never heard of you," I laughed in shock. "I couldn't believe it either but it was a nice to talk to someone who knew nothing about me." He laughed under his breath, messing with his hair.
