I followed Ash to his car and got into the passenger seat. My head kept telling me "Go back, don't follow him. Your just going to hurt yourself more." I ignored it though. I really needed to get out of school. At the moment I didn't care about skipping even my favorite class. I was startled a little when I heard the engine ignite and the car take off. Ash laughed a little and said " I'm guessing this your first time ditching isn't it." I Slowly shook my head yes. HE chuckled some more and said " Why don't you talk we are alone?" I shook my head no he then said " Why though." I sighed realizing that it will be a long time with him........
We arrived at this cafe which was like an hour and a half away. I got out of the car and waited for Ash before heading in. I found us a booth in the back and we sat down. I look around and notice how unique this cafe was. The walls were painted it routes and they were all different not one the same. The tables is chairs looked like something from the 60's. My face eventually made it self over to Ash and I some him looking at me with a smirk. I also notice that he had this grayish blueish eyes. He then said " I love coming here just to get away. It so different from everything else it makes it worth it." I shook my head in agreement..
We ordered our food and Ash did most of the talking. I just listened in as he told me about his old life before he moved here. For some reason It just made me fall closer to him. I was actually hanging on to every word he said and I didn't know why. Eventually four'o'clock came and it was time to go. He drive me home and when I got there, there was a small bouquet of a mixture of flowers. I looked at them and saw a small card attach. I opened it to read " Dear, Lacey please just hear me out . Please! -Adam xoxo" I grabbed the flowers and just threw them away in our cans out side. I looked to see Ash still there in his car watching. He caught me looking at him and pulled away. I sighed and walked inside my house.
I put on Pajamas's and watched my day away in stupid little cartoons. MY hair was in a messy bun. I was also eating a bowl of ice cream too. I heard a door open and closed quite loudly. I looked by the door to see my brother getting in from his job. He came over to me and said " Why did you ditch school?" I was dumbfounded . I never thought they would find out. " Tell me Lacey what in the world were you thinking. You're smarter than that and I know it." I looked down tears watering my eyes a little. I looked up to my brother we were really close and i hated to disappoint him. As I was looking down I heard him say " Why Lacey seriously are you trying to ruin everything you worked hard for in the past three years." Tears were now coming out . I Then whispered a small small " I'm sorry, I didn't mean too." I looked up at him and his face was full of shock. I'm guessing he heard me and I wanted him to . Since I been quiet I haven't really disappointing him or anything and I really want to let him know I'm sorry.
He decided to not tell dad as long as I agree to never do it again. We spent the rest of our time watching some more cartoons until dad got home. While watching cartoons my phone buzzed and I looked at it to see I received a text. I looked at it and saw and unknown number.
729-846-324: Hey, Lacey I was wondering if we can work on the project on Friday?P.S it's Ash.
Lacey: Fine by me, want to go to my place or yours?
Ash: Your will work best.
Lacey: Okay, well see you at school tomorrow .BYE!
When I finished my conversations I decided on heading to my room and writing in my journal.
" 9-21-14 After months of silence you decided it would be fine just to come back into my life. Your wrong.I Have gotten on with my life and so should you. I made not be better, but I just don't miss you. I'll admit I miss the things we use to do, but I don't want to repeat the heartache you gave me too. As i sit and watch you try and make contact with me, rage is surging and tears are bursting just as a effect from that night. The night you left and decided to leave me without a fight."
