2. Chapter 2- Today’s the day
The next day, on Saturday, I woke up with a jolt; today’s the day that I get to see 5sos in concert. I pounce out of bed forgetting that I’ve only just woken up. I get a dizzy feeling in my head and I quickly sit back down on my bed. “Calm down, just calm down. I’ll get to see them in about 11 hours, its 7:00am now and the show starts at 6:00pm” I say to myself trying to calm my nerves. After the dizzy spell has finally finished I get up of my bed, slowly this time and walk down the stair into the kitchen.
When I walk into the kitchen my mum’s buttering her toast and singing to Ed Sheeran’s song thinking out loud that’s just come onto the radio. I try to hold in my laugh but I just can’t help it, a second later I burst out with laughter. My mum jumps, which obviously means I scared her. “You scared me; I didn’t know you were there Becky. What do you want for breakfast because your farther wants to leave soon because we want to get there extra early so you can be as close as possible considering you’ve got standing tickets” my mum says. “I’ll just have some toast as your making some, oh and I’ll have a cup of tea too please” I say starting to get hungry. After Ed Sheeran’s song finishes, Good Girls comes on the radio and I start singing and dancing to it as loud as I possibly can, I mean why not I’m excited so I’m aloud to sing and dance as much as I want and I am waiting for my tea and toast still. As soon as the song finishes my mum places my tea and toast in front of me. I eat it in such high speed I’m surprised I didn’t get indigestion. When I’m finished I’m straight up the stairs to get ready.
I have a nice, hot, refreshing shower to calm my nerves and so I’m nice and clean for the concert, I don’t want to look dirty, not that I ever look dirty anyway I think in my head. Once I get out the shower I stop thinking stupid thoughts and start to dry my hair. My hair literally dries in 5 seconds straight. Then I suddenly remember to put my 5sos CD on so I can listen to them while I’m getting ready. All of a sudden she looks so perfect starts blaring out of my CD player on high volume; I smile to myself and start to straighten my hair. After I’m pleased that my hair is straight enough I put my 5sos top on and my ripped skinny jeans that I love on. While I’m stepping into my ripped skinny jeans the part in she looks so perfect that goes your ripped skinny jeans are lying on the floor comes on, and that make me smile so much. I do my make-up and brush my teeth as quick as I can because its 7:55am and my dad wants to leave at 8:00am. I turn my CD player off; grab my overnight bag with all my overnight stuff in it, grab my iPod then I run down the stairs.
“Do you have my ticket?” I ask my mum, getting scared she hasn’t and I’ve lost it. “Of course I do, it’s in my bag” my mum replies sounding outraged that I would think that she had lost it too. My dad shouts “come on girls I want to leave” as loud as he possibly can. I grab a packet of crisps and run to the car. After my mums locked the door she gets into the car and does her seatbelt up, which means were all buckled in to go, and then were off, I smile and put my headphones in and listen to 5sos all the way to London.
